Nothing. There have always been good or bad anime, in any era. Like any other form of media, there was never a mythical time that anime was universally good and to suggest otherwise is overgeneralization. What exactly are “anime standards”? There are many studios that produce anime. Some are great and some aren’t.

@@lollama4528 Well what I heard was that some Lotr fan in the Movie industry saw it... aaand basically its about the the red haired woman being a "girl boss" constantly. Like in the Ring of Power. Also the red haired woman is just a footnote somewhere in the books... no one important.
