I'll never tire of the amazing quality of these videos. Everquest is lucky to have a creator like Fading.

As soon as I heard that voice, I paused the video to confirm that it was indeed Christopher Lee, (the one and only!) playing Lucan D'Lere!! These videos are so much fun! I hope you do find help so you can continue making them!

Great video! Lucan is one of the most interesting characters in the Lore for sure!

I think my favorite part about this show, is learning more about the 'creation of' these games. Thanks Fading for doing all the work you and your team do to put this all together!

It's my pleasure! I love learning about it myself while I create each episode.

OMG! Lucan! Thank you for making this episode. Lucan is one of my favorite characters to work with. Along with the Overlord, I would say that Tinmizer was one of my other favorites. In the early days I would occasionally drop some enigmatic clockwork machine named by my favorite tinkerer, Tinmizer. They usually did nothing or hid their true reason for existing. It was also great to see Kander. He a great developer to become caretaker of EQII. Once, great work! Till yonder!

I’d like to see guides for returning players in 2025. Full series that runs down the new mechanics, systems, gear, what to do/where to go. Best few paths for leveling, the types of servers, etc. so much has changed I am finding (especially with EQ2) that it can be daunting. I bet a lot of returning players that don’t stick with it is due to them being so lost and overwhelmed. Everything is overwhelming in both games, even stuff that shouldn’t be like the UI.
@EverQuestShow15 күн бұрын
Great idea! The games can be difficult to navigate if you're returning. Creating a video guide can also be a heavy lift, but I'll put it on the list!

Great show! I never did anything with EQII, but my friends did after they moved on from EQ1. Getting Christopher Lee for anything is big. As far as guild of the year, it is hard to not see TR as a strong favorite. They get exposure on the channel here and are one of EQ's premiere guilds. I know some people in TR and they are deserving of whatever praise is sent their way. Thanks for all your work Fading.

Thanks for the comment! I appreciate it. And yes, the TR folks have been great at letting me get some video of content they are working through.

I'd love to be able to give my old mercs guest quarters in my housing like you can with mounts, perhaps with them having some dialogue.

I totally forgot that Heather Graham voiced AB! Maybe a video spotlight on them please? Also, I just started playing again on Teek. Froggy paladin and hoping maybe some folks in the community can guide me on the right path? Where I should go/level? I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

Find some great zones with some undead! Veksar and Howling Stones are great choices, depending on your level.

A modern updated EverQuest would rule the MMO Genre again if they could ever make a new game with updated QoL. I don't need Unreal Engine 5 graphics. But new updated graphics and animations, while keeping the same gritty gothic and dark fantasy style of EQ, would be best. New UI, new Inventory, new questing system, hot keys, maybe a nice skill tree system for each class. More character customization. EverQuest is still amazing, it's just so old it puts off a lot of potential new players.
