This needs to be updated cuz the lakers actually have 3 use able FRPS ‘24 ‘29 ‘31 and three swaps ‘26 ‘28 ‘30. And DLo getting 27 mill is a STRETCH

Yeeeah depending on when I finish all the other teams I might do an updated one. Now I know for next year to wait a little longer before I make these haha.

The rule about the consecutive draft picks is the Stephien rule, named after Ted Stephien, the Cavs governor of the team in the 1980s. The Lakers actually have 3 picks to trade. the 2030, 2028th and either the 2026 or 2025 1st depending on what pick the Pelicans take between the 2024 or 2025 1st rd pick. The Lakers get the other pick. I do like the trades you did. I do wonder about the cost of the team and if the Lakers will go into the repeater tax. This isn't a bad idea if the idea is to go into LBJs last season with the Lakers. I guess you can have D'lo, Reaves, Vando, Rui and AD if LeBron leaves which is good enough. Maybe Max Christie, Maxwell Lewis, Nick Richards and Jaxson Hayes develop enough to slide AD over to the 4 and you have either Vando or Rui starting at the 3.

Thank you! When recording I knew it began with an S but I couldn’t think of it haha. You are right about those picks as well! I didn’t touch those because I didn’t want to speculate about how they shake out, seems like a lot of presumptions on my part haha. The cost is pretty wild for the team for sure. I’m sure they know they have another 1-2 years most of it until they hit the rebuild button. Bron retires or leaves and AD will dip. They make their money back then. It's certainly a tough one to navigate though. Only so many possible moves let alone moves other teams want to make. Appreciate the comment as always!!

Yeah I don’t see why not. I don’t think it will cost them really anything to keep him.

@@jamesgonzales1738 Think so? I think he has only had like 3-4 double digit scoring games since joining the squad. Presuming that he wants to be on a winning team (I don’t know that I’m just guessing) he probably has to play for a minimum contract.
