I always wish i was a teen in the 80s. The styles the music the people. So awesome.

I was 14 when this movie came out. Oh did I love growing up in the 80’s still miss those days. Great music, great movies, amazing style. No mobile phones, or other social media. Just going out and having A Good time was our daily routine instead of being on social media all day long trying to get as many likes as possible. Real socialising was our game. Really miss that.

***** You have a good point, I wonder why it is? Perhaps it was the different types of cameras used? Obviously superior clothing(for the most part) though there is a neo-80s style out the last 5 years or so(tights on girls, vans skate shoes, straight converse style pants, 80s style skirts, etc).
@VibrantVisionVV9 жыл бұрын
***** I agree, plus I think film crews, producers etc.. had more passion then than they do now. It's very lazy now days coz of the high graphics, camera's and so on.
@jajavelika9 жыл бұрын
these days they just wanna make a quick buck and end up filming crap just to get it over with, but back then there was an actual passion in making these movies

***** True and it was one of the first and best cgi movies ever. Cgi after that got very pointless.

Thank you for filming this. It was very interesting. It looks way different now than back then. It actually looks better in the 80's. All the flashing lights on the signs on the boardwalk made it look really great. But, I enjoyed the work that you did and I appreciate it. You left me wanting more. All these years I thought the bridge scene was a far drop, but it wasn't. Hollywood really does great with special effects.

omg this video is amazing! The Lost Boys is my favourite movie of all time, although I would never consider it a 'comedy' like many say it is. Sure there are a few one liners here and there to lighten the mood every now and then but that's just to keep it from becoming super dark. Any movie nowadays has some sort of little one liners like The Lost Boys so it doesn't fall into being considered a very gritty movie.

Very well done. I've checked out quite a bit of websites and stuff showing filming locations of old movies (mainly 80's and early 90's) and I'm always surprised and saddened by how much things have changed. Many locations no longer existed, or a big mall where they used to be, stuff like that. I'm really surprised how similar everything looks to the way it did. These places have changed very little.

This was very interesting to watch!! THANK YOU for taking the time to make it and do such a good job... to me, i think the shots of the 80's look a lot better then what it does today. Like the lights around the signs, and then now towards the end where the cliffs are, there is a fence all around...i mean come on, it looks better without a fence, and i am pretty sure people can see there is a rather big drop off there and to stay away from the edge..smh...also the bridge scene where it shows them dropping off and into the fog..wow i thought it would be a longer drop, and or deeper water underneath of it. Very interesting :)

Oh yea, I remember when this was being filmed, either that or it was Sudden Impact, me, a buddy, and three girls were hanging out on the beach, we saw the filming, walked over to the boardwalk, a security guy stopped us and said we couldn't go any further, that they were right in the middle of filming, he was cool about it, we said ok, turned around, walked back to the beach, two of the girls took off their shorts, their shirts were down to almost their knees so no one saw anything, but it was hella funny watching them just strip off their shorts right in the middle of the beach and were now walking around wearing just their panties and a long shirt, I still remember it like it was yesterday, and it was 27 years ago, time sure does fly by.
