Lost media has a special place in my heart, as my family has its own piece of lost media that we one day hope to find. My father was on The Ricki Lake Show in 1997, and since my grandmother losted the recording she was given we haven't been able to find the recording of the episode he was in.

1:07:50 Minor correction: Soundlink was a game format broadcast through the Satellaview modem for the Super Famicom, it wasn't a separate add-on. Soundlink consisted of the game being broadcast alongside live voiceovers by radio and TV celebrities. The rest of the entry is pretty accurate.

Additional Note on Tapeworm. The A Perfect Circle song Passive was a Tapeworm track at first. Trent Reznor had even said he wasn't excited to find that Maynard had used that track and reworked some of it because he felt the song wasn't good enough when they were writing it.

Smile dog image- Many creepypasta images are heavily edited, sometimes using more than one photo. Im sure that the unedited dog is the smile dog & they edited a body, red backroom, eyes, ugly teeth, & the little white line is the same. they even removed the ears, leaving it with white spots where the ears should be. If you look closely, the creepypasta photo has been mirrored to the left, while removing the nose but keeping the snout & adding more red. As for the other photo. This could be me, but the other photo looks more like a painting that someone did for the story.

The Jackass 2 Don Vito footage probably will never see the light of day. Around the time of the movie, Don Vito got into some trouble and part of his sentencing was that he could perform or appear in the character of Don Vito for a set amount of time. Plus, Bam’s recent problems with the Jackass crew makes me think nobody will be in a rush to release the footage.

As for the 1:47:27 "mi familia es un dibujo", there isn`t a last episode. Pretty much, when they anounced the series was gonna end, they just aired the first episode, as it all ends with beginings, or something like that. After that they would come out with the spin off, which was Emi Martinez with another family that watched the show or something like that, cant recall. But the important thing is that the first episode is the last , as they just rather air it instead of a proper finale

I don't know if it's on this iceberg, but the "Absolutely Disgusting" meme is another example. Kirby GCN was actually three seperate games that were started and iterated on for the gamecube that never really got of the ground. There's the 2D popup book looking one you showed, a four player 2.5D game similar in style to Kirby 64 (the one you described), and a full 3D game with environments built on a grid. While no mainline kirby games came out on the gamecube, the ideas for all three games can be seen in future games. The 2D popup book style looks similar to the art style of the soon to be released Kirby's Return to Dreamland remake. The four player 2.5D game would evolve into the original Kirby's return to dreamland, which had the choice of playing as either kirby or three of his friends. The 2.5D specifically showed playable befriendable enemies which would be the core gameplay mechanic of Kirby Star Allies. The 3D grid type game would be reused for the Kirby's Blowout Blast subgame in Kirby Planet Robobot, which also had an expanded version released on the eshop. A full 3D mainline Kirby game would not be released until Kirby and the Forgotten Land.

There's a lost media I've been searching for and kinda hope I never find it. In 1908 there was a horrific school fire in Collinwood Ohio. The legend goes a photographer who just bought a new movie camera hoping to make his own movies, had heard that a fire had started at a nearby school. Back then news traveled by word of mouth faster than fire. He must've thought would be cool to film. Much as we do nowadays with our gopros and such. A movie camera was a worthwhile investment and must've cost a fortune in 1900s monies. So he hurried to the school before the fire dept could put it out and would have nothing to film. Stories go he took a trolly wich was faster than a horse against the town's towns traffic. When he got there he was in utter shock. The fd wasn't there and it was complete chaos. He had an assistant or his son and he filmed the photographer as he tried desperately to drag children from the fire. There are eyewitness stories say of a man using a stick to pry dead bodies from living. I believe this to be the cameraman using his tripod as his assistant held the heavy camera and kept filming. Stories of those who saw the film say he captured the schools roof as it collapsed and exposed steel girders and of a boy who was still alive desperately trying to jump from one girder to another to escape the climbing flames. The cameraman was severely burned helping those he could and later when he developed the film realized the horror he had captured. Reluctantly showing it in a theater he had built for his planned movies for a few pennies. Was titled just "hell". He never made any more films and it haunted him to the last of his days. It is believed the Smithsonian has the only copy or it's still in his family's possession. There is some film but it is believed to be heavily edited or from a diffrent camera man. I know one thing, great good things like giving a starving man bread, self-sacrifice,etc are rarely recorded and forgotten after a short time, but terrible horrific things that one would never think were recorded suddenly footage is found and is remembered for all time. The KLF story is way more weird. At the height of their fame, from creating catchy as hell dance music bangers bringing an element of punk and humour to the genre. They played a show at the Brit Awards with Polish grindcore band Extreme Noise Terror. They fired a machine gun of blanks at the audience then just, left the stage. Nobody knew where they'd gone until they sent a dead sheep to the after party and a video of them burning a million pounds with the declaration they've ended their career. They went on to write a book about how to have a number 1 hit and so.e Danish dude followed it step by step and sure enough scored a number 1. I also cannot stress enough that The KLF are a really good group. Go listen to them right now.

Wow, I remember seeing the Pokemon Live show when I was really young, and I still have one of the light up extended Light Saber toys with the pokeball on top of it. I remember bits and pieces of it. For instance, like when Ash wakes up to the main intro song, Misty and Ashes mom singing, Officer Jenny singing with team rocket wanted posters in the background. Ash was looking for pikachu at a point, team rocket singing behind Giovanni, and the huge pokemon puppets like butterfree. I had no idea it was lost.

Just to clear up the "Christopher Columbus" title: There are apparently only two signatures of Columbus. One of them looks something like "Xpoferens". The "'p" in the name has a line over it, which is medieval annotation meaning an abbreviation. The whole name would have been "Xpistoferens". "Xp" would have been understood to be pronounced "Chr" (X=Ch and p=r in Greek, and "Xp" was a common abbreviation for Christ's name). So Xpoferens = Christoferens, which is a Latin variation of "Christopher". Yeah, weird.

The lost sm64 screamer video was a video intended to demonstrate how to unlock Luigi in sm64, it related the "L is real" plaque being present in both sm64 in the courtyard and in Dodongo's Cavern in Zelda Ocarina Of Time. I remember actually watching it and being pretty much scarred by that video, it ended on mario pressing A on a Wall on the castle backyard and then jumping to the german kfe jumpscare. Good times.

the cure - you're so happy This is a unreleased track from the British band that was meant to be released in 99'/2000 . It is speculated to be apart of either the six tracks that were initially going to be the album proceeding 1996's 'wild mood swings' but we're eventually scrapped after Robert Smith has an epiphany and decided it was all drug induced nightclub rave inspired garbage that he didn't feel like singing; or simply a scrapped track for the final edition of bloodflowers (their 2000 album) although the former is more likely as it was meant to be a poppy sounding track with somewhat contrasted lyrics that was meant to serve as a nice juxtaposition representative of the bipolar nature the bands discography has as a whole. The weird thing is , the lyrics have been available on their website since 2000, and yet there is no known available recording on the surface web nor snippets or demos . That is except for one instrumental demo titled 'heavy world', available on KZbin with minimal views across multiple uploads. This all speculation as there has never been any clarification or response from the band on these claims, but after snooping around I saw an old forum board that stated they had heard it , posting a link to backup their claims; a link that is now unfortunately dead. After looking through comments on the KZbin uploads of 'heavy world' instrumental, I matched the lyrics to the instrumental , singing them along, and found that they matched eerily well. It was enough for me to leave a comment stating such in which a man replied stating,

I don't know which of the songs is heavy world, but I once heard a rough mix of you're so happy and as it was as a b side for the next single I didn't push the person for a copy and I now regret it. ". The next part of his quote needs some context , context which is detrimental to the entire aspect of this being lost media at all as there is a cover band which decided to give their own interpretation from the lyrics on the cures website , uploading it onto KZbin with many people believing it to be a legitimate demo by the cure (as the man does sound a little like Robert) it was under a project entitled 'pink pig atlas ' and is NOT an official recording by the cure. The reply went on in regards to this with, " I used to get into heated debates often because some cover band decided to record their interpretation based on the lyrics and some 'fans' actually believed that was Robert singing and the rough mix I refer to- it's not. At all."

Interesting side note : one of the two uploads (being the older one with more views) of this aforementioned 'heavy world' instrumental is no longer available on KZbin. There was a comment that helped me investigate further into this theory that I wasn't sure of until the man who replied to me reinforced my suspicions which I can't clearly remember. Bummer. As for the six unreleased tracks , two of them were made available to the public. First being through a Japanese exclusive bonus track ' Coming up' and then again later on, 'Possession' with the 2004 release of their compilation album ' join the dots : b sides and rarities'. Another very rare track from them is ' ching chang chong', which seems to be a altenrate version to bloodflowers online exclusive track ( they were heavily involved in their website back then; with its own individual feel and constant interaction with the band members and fans) 'spilt milk'. That track was possibly recorded in 1997 as a b side for that year's single, 'wrong number', but ended up ultimately being scrapped.

Lastly, someone had said that Robert purposely withheld these happier sounding tracks from release because he did not feel comfortable singing them in regards to his artistic vision for the era and bloodflowers' 'dream tour' in 2000, or , in much more dramatic fashion, he did not like how the label handled the promotion of their singles album 'galore' in 1997 (which includes the aforementioned single 'wrong number' ) along with its follow up tour and because of this decided to leave the only songs the label liked from bloodflowers off of it out of spite. More than likely a bunch of nonsense , aside from the fact being that four of those six tracks and you're so happy have never seen the light of day.

What about Calls From the Hood? It was a Jerky Boys type prank call album of real calls from the late 90s in the NYC NJ area. I had a bootleg copy but it was sold in stores.
