Man, over the course of this series you hit so many great movies that either I had forgotten about or that I remembered but was worried everyone else was going to forget about. You also listed so many that I don't remember at all, and that I will now have to go find and watch. The only movie on my list that I thought you were going to hit, but didn't, was 1998's "Fallen" with Denzel. He had so many great movies that fell under the radar over time, like Virtuosity, that you did cover, that i could see why it maybe got skipped. Can't have the whole "Lost 90's" series be Denzel movies.

Nothing But Trouble is batsh## crazy, not a good movie but really interesting and I do rewatch it every several years. Dark City is one of my favorite movies in general, it's a perfect movie if you watch the director's cut and I never thought The Matrix was as great as Dark City.

Every movie you picked was interesting and I have seen each one 5 - 10 times except for Nothing But Trouble which I don't like much. Still better than most movies from the 2010's or 2020's. We are around the same age and grew up watching and loving 90's flicks so I want to ask you if you have seen these two 90's movies. Highway to Hell and The Gate 2. P.S. I didn't realize at first you had multiple episodes about lost 90's films. I will watch all episodes and comment on each. My favorite thing on KZbin currently. Very well done and you correctly included movies of all genres.

I was never too crazy about Nothing But Trouble but man did I enjoy The Distinguished Gentlemen just the idea of Eddie conning all the white folks in his district to vote for him because they remembered the white dude with the same name is hilarious. Also like Trading Places congressmen are the biggest con men of all or Politian's for that matter. Even worse than stockbrokers who you know are doing insider trading. Very much a "you scratch my back i'll scratch yours." When the cameras are on, they are fire and brimstone against the other side, but secretly playing golf together and bopping their secretaries. It could be remade today even and go much deeper. We really need a spoof movie like Airplane made about US politicians with no PC filters at all. I really thought Murder in the 1st was an excellent underrated film only saw it once but remember it well I thought Kevin Bacon and Christian Slater worked very well together. Kind of like Kevin Bacon and Tom Cruise in A Few Good Men just excellent acting. The Arrival to me was far more interesting than Independence Day which I thought was just a popcorn movie with not much substance. I loved the ending and thought Charlie really did an excellent job in the film even though he was battling his own drug addictions at the time.

7:56 OK I absolutely love the movie. The ref when I was a kid even though I was like 10/11 and I’m sorry to say he did a bad job describing it let me see if I can help you out so that you guys actually want to see the movie. Dennis Leary is a cat burglar and he says over the top neurotic self, which is always hilarious. He runs into this couple who basically hate each other and are about to get divorced. Their son is in military school and is a dysfunctional little shit he kidnapped them and the son goes along with it cause he’s a brat and the town cops becomes aware of the cat burglar so the cops are on the lookout for Dennis so while they’re hostages, they won’t stop arguing and fighting and it’s driving him crazy.. so a cop comes to the house and he plays along them that he is there marriage counselor because he has a gun and thats how movies worked in the 90s lol. at the same time the dad‘s family comes over for Christmas and it’s one of those whole situations where the mom hates the wife and the brother is over the top and his friends with the cop, of course and by the end of the movie, Dennis Larry has somehow got the couple to reconcile. He got their little shit kid who was inmilitary school to kinda get his shit together and then they actually help him escape and make it away it’s a great movie. I would recommend it to anybody that likes Denis Leary. Now there is one thing we should mention is that Kevin Spacey is the dad, but he’s actually funny in this
