You were right, Matty. Technically, there is no way that T-Rex killed everyone on that boat without that cabin being completely destroyed. There was supposed to be a part where one or more velociraptors stowed away on the ship & they were responsible for the deaths of the crew. However, it was either rewritten or the scene was cut & they never bothered cleaning up the small loose ends, leaving a huge unanswered plot hole to this film during what already felt like a rushed scenario with the T-Rex in San Diego for like 15 minutes to begin with. That has bothered me personally for years, lol.. Keep up the fantastic work, my brother..✌🏻

the reason why they set up on a cliff is the island is an old volcano with most of the animals in the inside of the crater including predators, the trex terrirtory didnt originally include the cliffs, so originally the safest place for them is on the outer rim of the crater but since they moved the baby to the rim the trex's range/territory now includes the rim

"The compies didn't look dangerous at first sight. They were the size of a hen and walked nervously like a hen. But he (John Hammond) knew that they were venomous. Their bites delivered a slow-acting poison that they used to kill wounded animals. small theropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Triassic Period, about 222 to 219 million years ago. Procompsognathus was named by Eberhard Fraas in 1913. He named the type species, P. triassicus, on the basis of a poorly-preserved skeleton found in Württemberg, Germany. Procompsognathus may have been about 1.2 meters long (4 feet). A biped, it had long hind legs, short arms, large, clawed hands, a long slender snout with many small teeth, and a stiff tail. It lived in a relatively dry, inland environment and may have eaten insects, lizards, and other small prey. So, they can kill you. Like they did to the little girl and the guy, well the little girl escape them before too much damage was done, but that guy in the jungle that's what happened to him.

The gun that Roland Tembo had wasn't a shotgun. It was an elephant gun. It MIGHT have been able to kill a T-Rex, but it would have to be a headshot. At the very least, it would've delivered a devastating blow to the Rex, and it would've been knocked back. Just for the record.

Also, the San Diego Park was definitely too small as you said. It was originally supposedly built between 1983 & 1985, then dropped for the much larger & grander Isla Nublar park instead & was apparently only supposed to hold up to like 8 species. Therefore, I always imagined, since they call it an amphitheater, that they were gonna have it be like SeaWorld & the animals would be kept in criminally small spaces unlike they were at the actual Jurassic Park &/or they would then have small shows or public spectacles for a crowd of spectators like they did in the Roman Colosseum days & the dinos would be housed beneath the building itself.

Velociraptors are definitely more dangerous than a T-Rex. Faster, more intelligent, work in packs, stealthier, they can hide in tall grass and dont announce their coming with thunderous footsteps that shake everything. Im Jurassic park, they'd be my worry. But i'm definitely breaking branches and making spears if i dont have the luxury of a gun. On a Dinosaur meets caveman flex😂😂😂.

The guy that got eaten up by the little carnivorous dinos, there's a reason why he couldn't just fight them off. In the book, they're said to have a venomous bite, similar to Komodo dragons. So, one nipping that guy already set him up for failure. Now add a dozen more. Yeah, he was finished at that point.

That’s not why lol it’s when they have the T-Rex on the boat but it arrives with the whole crew but somehow the Rex was still in its cage though the top of door to the T-Rex’s enclosure/cage was bent as if it tried to get out or maybe it did. But apparently everyone said that they with two things that the Rex somehow did get free right when they brought it to the boat and that it possibly woke up right then and they tried to get it and also the fact that raptors happened to stowaway and get on there before they left land and killed the crew so everyone doesn’t like that big missing plot hole. That’s the main one that bugs everyone. The other is Sarah Harding. Apparently she’s a professional but has made big huge mistakes front the very beginning that she being an expert shouldn’t have made those mistakes. First is touching the baby stegosaurus. And the fact that after helping the baby T-Rex she had it’s blood on her jacket and instead of disposing her jacket she keeps it on and the Baby T-Rex’s blood is marking all the plants she rubbing against when walking through the forest so that led the parents right to them when they set up camp to sleep. That’s how the parents found them. She’s fucking stupid now I don’t know if the writers fucked up and didn’t realized or they intentionally knew what they were doing and in doing so fucked up still bcuz it ruined Sarah Hardings character and making her stupid which of course doesn’t make sense cuz again she’s an expert. Oh and now this is just a personal preference but some people don’t like when Ian’s daughter uses her gymnastics skills to knock out the Velociraptor. They think it was unrealistic. Now with saying all that and telling you that this movie is actually my favorite in the franchise even with its obvious flaws lol. But this movie is my favorite cuz it scared me a bit a more than the first and I could see it’s potential if they hadn’t been sloppy with some of it. But the whole gymnastic part honestly I do think it’s realistic of course if you get lucky and things okay out that way. I’d say it definitely could’ve been a real possibility but I mean whatever lol wait hold definitely realistic of kicking it but she’s just a kid so even though she wound up for that kick I don’t think her legs were strong enough to kick it through the window even with the momentum. Maybe if it had been one of the adults who did it cuz they also have more weight to them but it’s believable the glass breaking cuz the place is old and the dinosaur is heavy just maybe not believable that her weight managed that lol if that makes sense.

I’m excited for you to get to the next one. It’s considered by most to be the weakest in the series but it’s my personal favorite. The first two are cautionary tales about what could go wrong when you try to play god. While the third one has a minuscule moral to it, it’s not the main point of that movie. Also, while the first two are more adventure styles of films, 3 is just an action/monster movie. It gets quickly to the point and at least 4 of the characters are likable. Also, out of every movie in the series, it’s the only one to have a different dinosaur lead, as the rest are all mixes of t-Rex/Raptors. Furthermore, it’s the shortest film of the series and it never feels like it’s lagging. I hope you can enjoy it but yeah most don’t.

Not only did the trex and raptors help kill the indominus Rex in Jurassic world, but the indiminus Rex was created from both those species. Same with the indoraptor. In fallen kingdom, they spend a whole chunk of the movie focused on finding blue (a raptor) and saving rexy (the trex). Don’t tell me I’m wrong about something when I’m not. Get off your high horse.

Unpopular opinion: This is the 2nd best film in the entire franchise. The first is obviously a beloved movie, but the sequence of events in the 2nd movie is the natural progression of what would have very likely happened following the 1st. It just made sense. Also, I don't feel like any of the other movies outside the original trilogy kept the same dark and serious tone that these ones do. This one also conveys the greatest feeling of adventure in my opinion. If you've ever been out in the middle of the wilderness with just off-road vehicles and survival gear you'll kinda get the way this one captures that feeling of having to actually survive in that environment, and the Gatherer Team sent by Hammond is very much on an adventure of that sort in this one, with the added threat of dinosaurs, espionage, and the (IMO) noble goal of conserving the islands ecosystem. The sequel trilogy to me doesn't capture the darker tones of the first, the adventure of the second, and only the action of the third.

05:12 I highly recommend either reading the first book or listening to an audio of it, it's mind blowing. John Hammond is stubborn all the way through regarding the dangers the dinosaurs pose, he's also just an absolute asshole. The ONLY reason he invited his grandkids was because he thought the lawyer would soften the blow dealt to the park if something did go wrong. He bought them as a pity card.
