It just occurred to me that the upgrades section neglects to show the upgrading of the TC compartment's right wall to HQM! The entire compartment needs to be HQM by the end of the build to maintain rocket cost :) Sorry about that!

I was just watching one of LeftyyP's most recent base videos, and the layout looked awfully familiar. Pretty cool to see a base I already enjoyed getting updated and upgraded as this game continues. He even managed to work a stability bunker into it. It doesn't have the hatch up to the roof, though. Your roof setup is still better.

First time in years building anything that wasnt just a 2x1 with honeycomb, amazing design! Thank you so much, this will be my new go-to from now on, when i built this i honeycombed all the way up instead of placing turrets, i also added a sam-site on the roof and an autoturret on top of the cube you get onto the roof from, beneath the wind turbine, and built wooden high externals around the base to make it a compound to fit large furnaces and oil refinery.

I've built the love shack a few times with great results I recommend you build the vending up top below the windmill and store a locker and bed up there to drop down and defend your base from. I've revealed and retool my base like this several times

just wanted to say I got raided by a huge clan tonight w/ this build.... they had to use like 3 or 4 mini copter trips to get more boom. great design... was fun to defend... I didn't get to finish the roof or get the windmill up so it would have been more fun, but ohhhh well. GG's fun base to learn and build! Keep up the great content!

Good design and excellent build video. For those watching, if you're playing on anything but vanilla (ie. 2x, 3x, 5x) make sure you move as quickly as possible to lay down the turrets. A base like this is a target, esp if you have visible high qual walls.

Great base, I like the expansion from starter on up. One tip, when placing your First foundation, line it up with a compass heading. (not one of the big 8) then boxes and all other deployables become far easier to get perfect.

Building this for a second wipe. Held up nice and strong last, but this wipe I added a bunker to the chute down, added one more floor, the shooting floor for Heli and have the roof pieces above that... So far, so good...

built that base about 20 times already in my rustcareer^^. just some things are different in my version. so thumbs up for that basebuild. but your version has some weaknesses. the ladderhatch to the roof makes no sense for me at that position. as soon as it gets to an online raid and the first door is down you wont have access to the roof. the second thing is that this base is so low budget, that in my opionion its unnecessary to fill it up with so many turrets and a windmill so it does look rich. my way up to the roof is where your battery is. the two rooms in the second floor include other items like a bed locker computertable mixing table and some boxes for droploot. for me its one of the two best solo blueprints if youre lazy and love pvp. on my roof i got some flameturrets. that has been always enough. but still... good video

Started building this base at around 11AM. Finished by like 2PM, took a bit of farming and transferring stuff between bases. Was online raided at 4PM and due to my active sealing they used at least 38 rockets and will need to use 15-20 more to clear the doors. Funny thing is I only had a few gear sets and guns there and just used literally all my sulf and GP making bullets and filling my turrets so they got NOTHING xD Won't be building this again solo because the turbine draws way too much attention but def would be fun for a duo or trio.

Its a good and simple design. Its good for new players who doesnt need complicated bases. I hope the next design will have half wall ceilings for the core for top down raiding, bunker, gate houses, external tcs and compound walls.

Love the design, the 3 furnace jump up if you do half walls one one of the 3 walls then connect the triangle ladder hatch twig you can place a triangle roof then upgrade that for a bunker

12:40 You can put a fire in the middle of the 4 boxes. Do 2 boxes, put the fire down, then do the other 2 boxes.

Yes. Feel free to add a full window and embrasure floor on top. Then just add another jump-up or hatch to an actual roof if you so desire.

you can put a non griefable triangle roof bunker base on the jump up since the tc is blocking any placement of a halfwall there

This base is solid but I was able to raid it with 6 rockets, 4 c4 and 200-300 explosive bullets. If you have a heli it’s pretty easy to raid once your at top.

I assume you could replace the square foundation under the jump up with a triangle in front of it and throw a refinery inside of it with a triangle floor above - might be a nice improvement to have a safe accessible refinery from inside

That tile has to be completely closed off because it is integral honeycomb on the base. If it is open, you will only have to blow one sheet door and one sheet wall to get into the bottom core.

Can you modify the front entrance to include a oil refinery replacing the square foundation and adding a triangle roof tile to hold the research table. I think that will greatly benefit the build without adding much cost. Also adding half walls to the jump up to the roof to include shotgun traps above the main doors entrance

Please avoid doing this, that sheet metal square is very important honeycomb, as it leads directly into the core. If you place an oil refinery there, it's only a single sheet door, and one sheet wall to get into the center of the base!
