On 28 October 2024, it was announced that Abel had died on 25 October, at the Ospedale Sacro Cuore Don Calabria in Negrar di Valpolicella. He was 65. Abel had suffered a fall at home in 2021 and never recovered from his injuries

Good episode, also to add that Marco Furlan must not have been in custody during his trial as he managed to flee Italy to Greece, where he lived for four years before being extradited in 1995. Crazy they're free and easy today.

Wow!! How is it that this case wasn't more well known? It's not your "usual" serial killer team type case thats for sure, and they got away with it for 7 years, if i understood that correctly, with 15 deaths and so many injured.
