That hole there looks pretty big, can you not roll the connector up into the wire a little bit and push it through?

Someone else mentioned this as well. I just took a look at another Vista cable I have lying around and don't see how you can squeeze it through without the risk of damaging the tiny cables/connector. However, what I think you could do is pull the rubber grommet out of the back plate and then you can pass the cable through. The grommet is just glued in so you can always glue it back in if you want to go back to the DJI camera. I'd suggest that approach next time. :)

Wow that's almost identical to an iFlight DC3 except with a Vista instead of a full Air unit. My DC3 flies really good with a 450 to 650mAh 4s. My only issue is the rear two Xing 1404 motors will get brown windings if you fly it hard regularly for a year or more.

I found that the rear arms are a weak point on the DC3. Over time you will notice that the rear arms will start to bow upwards and cause weird handling behavior, jello, and shuttering in hand maneuvers. I tried to work with iFlight on this but iFlight indicated that the DC3 is discontinued.

@@Mangorille That's interesting I have not noticed any bow bending but I will do a close inspection to see if it's subtlety beginning.

@@Mangorille Hey man, I have just broken my last DC3 bottom plate and am looking at swapping over everything to this qav-s mini 3 frame.. do you think a full size air unit could fit? If you have a caliper, a measurement between the rearmost standoffs would be immensely helpful. I'm looking at 44mm length for the air unit. 👍

@@Mangorille between the standoffs surrounding the vista. Length and width would be cool if you don't mind. It looks like a pretty great frame, other than the arm that you broke that looked like there wasn't any adhesive between the layers. Would you still reccomend it over a micro apex 3" or ??? If I have to buy another vista, I want a killer new frame.

When I swapped cameras I just folded the connector so it was parallel with the wire and pushed the whole thing through the rubber hole. tight squeeze but you can do it

Thanks for the feedback, someone else mentioned the same but that seems like it puts a lot of stress on those tiny cables.
