映像用のフルサイズの中ではコスパの良さもあってS5いいですね、 Aidin Robbinsって方もS5を使われていて憧れます…。 でもそろそろ純正18mmf1.8とAFが強化された2世代目が出ないかなぁ…と期待していたり😌 日本のVloggerにはLumixユーザー少ないですがやっぱり画質が良いですよね！ Keep up the great work!!

コメントありがとうございます！おっしゃる通り本当にS5はコスパが良くて素晴らしいカメラだと思います！ 僕もAidin Robbins好きでよく見てまして、たしか全部MFでVlog(自撮り含む)を撮ってて尊敬してます笑 後継機のAFは爆速になってくれる良いですね😂 18mm F1.8もそろそろ出てきてほしいですね〜！ 最近はGH6が話題になったこともあり、肌感ですがLUMIXユーザーが増えてるようなので、今後のLUMIXには益々期待してます！！

Arigato Gozaimasu! This was a lovely review, and I agree with your opinion. I prefer native Lumix lenses to Canon with adapter, but it is a good alternative till you can go native. The footage you showcased is quite lovely, and I wish you all the best for more collaborations :)

Thanks for such great feedback and your wishes! I think if you shoot with AF, the native lenses are definitely better but there’re still not enough variations of native lenses so that as you said, MC21 is a good alternative so far👌

The S5 is my fourth Lumix camera (after G6, GX8 and G9). Lumix cameras have strong image of tools for videographers but I mainly use it for stills (and mainly with other lenses). I agree that S5 is a very good camera but for traveling I would take the G9 instead. Yes, the S5 has a slight edge in image quality (stills only; as for videos, the G9 provides sharper footage with (rather odd, but true as you can see on the side-by-side comparisons on my channel) equal if not even better dynamic range and much lighter and more compact as a system (including lenses). If you film in a flat profile, the V-Log of S5 is definitely better than the V-LogL of G9. But when I use the Standard profile (or another non-flat profile) I can see the high-level mft camera G9 reproduces more (and more accurate) colors than the entry level FF camera S5 ! P.S. The automatic WB of S5 isn’t good unfortunately. I don’t speak about autofocus at all. For me it doesn’t really exist in Lumix cameras and I don’t really miss it!

Thanks for sharing your honest opinion! I know how amazing G9 is because I've used G8 in the past haha Let me check how your side-by-side test went, I'm so curious! S5's low light performance is incredible and I quite often shoot at night or indoors so for me S5 is the best travel camera to go with👌 *Yeah, actually AWB of S5 is tricky but it's possible to fix it in post-production mainly when you shoot in V-log & 10bit so I'm not that much worried about that!

I'm agree with you! i'm also always bring my sigma 24mm f/1.4 art and Lumix S 85 f/1.8 for traveling, both lens can complete my needs 😊. Say hello to S1 user! 😉👍🏻

S1とS5を持っています。 S5をジンバル（RS2）撮影で使用する場合、AFが外れやすかったり、ウォブリングが悩ましいです。 ただLUMIXの描写が気に入っているので他社に切り替えるつもりはありません。 レンズはシグマiシリーズで揃えようと思っていましたが、 AF迷う事が多く、純正のパナ35mmを購入しました。シグマよりは追従しますが時々外れます。 マニュアルフォーカスで撮影しようかとも思っていますが、 SHUKEIさんは、ジンバル撮影の際はAFで使用していますか？ またジンバル撮影の際は、主なレンズは何を使用されていますか？

コメントありがとうございます！ ジンバル使う時は、おっしゃる通り(特に周辺が暗いシーンは)AF外れたりウォブリングが発生しちゃうので、最近は全てMFで撮ってます！ 被写体と一定間隔で自分が動く必要があるので少し難易度高くなりますが、絶対的な安心感があるMFが個人的にはベストかと！ あと外部モニター使うとピーキング見やすくなるので、機動力は落ちますがおすすめです👌

返信ありがとうございます！ 最近はMFで撮影しているんですね。 自主製作映画の撮影では、外部モニターを付けて撮影していますが、 仕事のウェディング撮影では、会場が狭かったり人が多く機動力の問題から、 外部モニターは付けていませんでした。 しかし、S5のAF迷ったり合うのが遅かったりするので、 ウェディング撮影現場だと困っていたので、MFにしようかと思います。 MFにするなら、外部モニターを取り付けようと思います。 参考になりました。 ありがとうございます！

super video thank you . I have the 20 -60 mm and the 85 mm, I want buy a new lens but I don't no if I take the 24 mm o the 35 mm . you can help me pleeeeeeeeeaseeee , give me some advice

Thanks for watching! The S5 gives you two options of different angles with one prime lens (I mean, super 35mm or pixel by pixel mode) So in my case (travel content), I go with 24mm because I can shoot with both 24mm and around 35mm. And if you need more bokeh and don't mind the narrower angle, 35mm would be a good option! (You can shoot with 35mm and around 50mm) I hope it makes sense!

I saw your video shot with S5 when travel to Nagano. I think in the specs this camera was limitted from 0 C to 40 C Can you confirm in the real world? I am going to travel to the same area next month

Sorry for my late reply! Oh I hope you enjoyed the trip! The buttery life will be lower but I’m sure it’ll work even if the temperature is below zero👌

S5使ってますがほぼSIGMAレンズしか持ってないので純正レンズも欲しくなりました。 もう少しバリエーション増えてくれると嬉しいですが。

SIGMAレンズの方がバリエーション豊富でコスパも良いのでそうなりますよね、、、僕もSIGMA 24mm F1.4はかなり気に入って使ってました。一方で純正はAF性能が優れており、より使い勝手が良いので、F1.8シリーズのように安価でコンパクトなレンズが増えることを期待してます！！
