The Magic & Mythology of Mistletoe

The Mistletoe was famously the sacred heal all herb of the Ancient Celtic Druids to whom it symbolised the Sun, the Moon and a whole lot more. As it grows up in trees rather than on the ground, it has long been held sacred to many ancient Sky Gods like Thor and Taranis. It is still found today as part of modern Yule or Christmas celebrations with its links to fertility and magic still intact as people kiss beneath the mistletoe boughs.
