Regular blenders are mainly for big batch. I wouldn’t use it for this recipe; at least not at this quantity. A hand blender should work. Not sure what you mean by a Cuisinart, since that’s a brand, but… if you’re referring to a food processor… based on the constancy he’s going for here, I’d stick with the immersion (hand) blender. Hope it goes well!😊

One remark, the metric list of ingridients still lists amount of cherry tomatoes as 1 pint, which is not a metric unit of measurement. I presume the amount of tomatoes is ~500 grams since 1 pint = 473g of water.

I'll try it, but I like my tomatoes in pasta, a bit cooked.. That's just me. My version of this involves more cooking, but it eliminates the bullet step. I start with pasta a La limone going in, but to it, I add tuff halved tomatoes, and I let them soften in the sauce. The hits of tomatoes are just a fun burst in the mouth for me. And, if you really want to do it up, don't stop there. Add a can of GOOD tuna fish to the afore mentioned sauce, and a few slices of hot cherry peppers are optional . No really.. Just heat it through, add some pasta water.... Done. It doesn't need the cheese if you add the tuna, but you can if you like.
