The Utah online marriage is not a proxy marriage. These online marriages are a real, legal marriage ceremony under the laws of Utah and the US. It is not considered a proxy marriage at all since both parties appear and represent themselves without a third party in the ceremony. This type of marriage ceremony is no different legally speaking than if the couple were both standing in front of me in person here in Utah. Yes Utah does allow proxy marriages also, but that is not what the Utah online marriages are.

I tried registering my marriage through the Marine Corp and the person wont budge at all cause he is stating it is a proxy marriage.

Pointless this isn’t for you. If u seen her or him face to face you have no dog in this fight nobody cares about your story good for you. Unless your going to say “I married my spouse in Utah online and filed and got approved without ever seeing her/him face to face and now we are living together in America” If that isn’t your words then nobody cares .

Jim, we are already married while we are physically together in Germany using Utah Online Marriage. There was no other option because marriage there takes 6-12 months to wait, and visas are only valid for 3 months. So we are already married via UTAH marriage, are you telling us to go marry again somewhere else I don't get it? Don't they require you to be single to get married in most countries? You need to clarify otherwise this video is just confusing for everyone, and not helpful.

Hi Jim, Love your videos! Can you make an updated video on "Filing N-400 Before I-751 Finished"? Now that I-751 processing can be extended up to for 4 years.

I would love to know about this.. do you still need to file for the permanent residency card or can you wait and file the N-400
@Nurse-Laura Жыл бұрын
@@sjmilton85you do have to file to remove conditions, but you can also file for naturalization before the I-751 is decided. It helps to push the I-751 through if you file an N400.

Jim . You are extremely reliable person, invulable lawyer. I am wonder if a lawyer like you will be able to help me to expediate my case. I have repplied for AOS on 19 July 2023 after my frist application denied due to leaving the country without travel document. My husband is 80 years old and i am 55 years. Both of us we are extremely stressed and we cannot make any decision related to any thing which need permission for premenant residency . For example i am hesitant to transfer my saving here and buy a house in conjuction with my husband. I wish i could get rid of this uncertainty

I am writing to seek clarification regarding the eligibility requirements for marriage and spousal visa applications in Utah. I am from India, and my girlfriend, who is from California, USA, visited me in India. She stayed with me from August 2023 until February 2024, a period of almost six months. During this time, we spent significant time together, and she is now pregnant, with her due date in mid-November 2024. Given our situation, I would like to know if we are eligible to get married in Utah, or if we need to meet again in person to apply for my spousal visa. We have already met in person, and she is currently pregnant. Please advice.

So what's the problem to go and do some "consumation" on territory of a third country right after marrying and then enter US together?

No silly ur missing the damn point. The point is if you haven’t met the person face to face you want to marry because you can’t. Maybe u can’t get a passport to leave the U.S. etc and there’s no chance u can leave or a fear of flight ✈️ so u do it online. If you could meet in a third party country silly that’s face to face then u could get your finance a k1 visa to visit you in America. However u have to have met face to face to get the k1 visa allowing her to come live with you 90 days and get married then stay.

It's impossible to marry it again in another state with the same person. For example, I would like to use utah virtual marriage to obtain parental rights to my fiance child.... Then marry again in Florida after the k1 visa

Why is it impossible to be together after the legal marriage? Its not magical. Are all planes grounded?
@jemm.82773 ай бұрын
It not that it is impossible but the couple have to prove that they were physically together after the marriage because it would be impossible to prove consumation of marriage when the couple cannot prove that they were physically together
