What if My I-751 Gets Denied?

That's one data point of someone who did it themselves and got denied, but how many did it themselves and got approved? I was quoted more than $3k for a simple I751 filing which is outrageous. I did it myself with no problems, approved. I also did my citizenship process myself. If you're worried and need some help you can use tools like Boundless immigration or RapidVisa which are much cheaper.. or just hire a paralegal.

Agreed. My the time you get to i781 you have a fairly good idea of how the system works

We should be able to do them ourselves! But the government has made it so dam confusing and complicated even an intelligent person will have issues.

I think it looks deceptively simple to complete the forms and provide the documents. However, you make a mistake (harmless / accidental / etc), and it can affect your spouse (or yourself) to an enormous degree. Spend the few extra dollars and get competent assistance with this process. The government is your enemy and you need to approach interactions with USCIS as if your life is on the line. Take no chances!

My conditional Greencard expired on 02/10 and uscis received my I-751 on 02/09 and now I got a notice of rejection because: The pavment amount is incorrect. or has not been provided. Please review the Form Instructions for tee intormation. Please resubmit the application/petition package with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of this page. Will the extend the timeline? Or if I resubmit it’s considered I filed late

I submit my 1-751 dec 2021 after 2 weeks. i received my 24 month extension letter. After 1 year i recieved another 48 months extension letter.last weeks i recieve my RFE and they request some evidence of my 1-751because she dont include me in yhe house and utility bills .and i can't drive so what will i do.
