I made that my second purchase after I took up the hobby of scale trains. In addition to seeing fine detail and little parts, such as on HO scale locomotives and rolling stock, or putting together plastic models of structures, I use it to look at the underside of leaves on my plants when they aren't doing well. I can soon see aphids or spider mites, which must be controlled quickly. Many uses for this handy gadget. Mine is 20 years old this very year.
