This BtS video is fabulous. I have a lot of questions about the dress itself. Where is it now? Can it be cleaned or washed or exposed to water, without disintegrating? In my mind, this type of dress making could take couture foundational garments into a new arena for customers with non-model-esq body shapes, sizes, and measurements. If the cellulose material can have different colors, it would be amazing to see a balayage effect in a dress. Imagine 100 years from now, when having a computer “replicator” print your clothing for the day and, at the end of the day, the worn material is recycled into new cellulose for the next outfit. Of course, I am very inspired by Star Trek and this cellulose spray might be a way to recycle clothing, if it can be deconstructed and recycled.
