Now that I have built my first board and start planning the next, this is really cool to see. Great infos and insights.

That's a good weight for that volume and having all those inserts and a SUP Handle.

What layup pattern did you use on the top surface of the board? Thanks! I've made one with a full sandwich on top and bottom and it feels sooooo heavy.

Thanks for watching. Sorry to say that’s a while ago and Steve was the one who made it.

@@StandUpMagazin Thanks for your reply! How satisfied have you been with the durability of the bottom?

@ very happy. It’s been pretty much my daughter who has been riding the board ever since wing foiling

So it’s 4oz glass, then carbon, then resin filler, then a hotcoat and then a sanding coat? Or is there also fiberglass on top of the carbon? Is there a way to just sand the carbon and bag again a 2oz glass and leave the peel ply textured finish? Or would this cause leaks?

Aloha and thanks for watching. Unfortunately your question is a bit beyond my knowledge. Sorry.

Watch the previous videos. I believe it's 4oz glass, 6oz carbon, 2oz glass to hold it together, resin filler, hotcoat, sanding coat.
