This should be in 4 parts unless something changes, im still working on part 3 & 4, but video 1 & 2 are the first segment in the full feature, then videos 3 & 4 are the 2nd and 3rd segments of the full feature, i just dont want to process this any more, as the edits are few and very clean, i have to say this is one of my favorites of all time, and this really has a ton of info about the movie plus the sequel, there is also a lost scene with napolean that still may be floating around somewhere, cool ! Such a great movie!!! It's 80's cheesey....but done absolutely more than great! It has all the best ingredients of drama, action and romance, executed flawlessly. Great story, medieval action and current (ok.....40 years ago then....I'm getting old 😂). The great Sean Connery, Christopher Lambert with his sort of awkward but great mannerisms, Clancy Brown absolutely stealing the show as the Kurgan. Then the great cinematography....I love the camera tricks going from the future to the past. And of course the music of Queen....who had a knack for getting attached to cheesy but damn great movies.....Flash Gordon earlier. And then the heartbreaking scene of Heather dying and Queen's Who wants to live forever.....I lose it every time watching the movie. Things like these done right elevate an otherwise maybe 'standard' action movie from the rest and make it a true (cult) classic. And this movie is exactly that! I'm 53 now, my son 25 also loves this movie after I had shown it to him. And of course I blew his mind telling him Clancy Brown is Mr. Krabbs. 🤣 There can be only one!

I was never really considered the concept of immortality until I watched Highlander. A harsh reality of what it really might be like to physically live forever and deal the trauma of living on while those who we love die. I think it was Connner Mccloud's thousand yard stare while he was sitting in the audience of that wrestling match that hit home.

Crazy that not only did Clancy Brown not get paid to be in the movie, but when it was successful and were going to make Highlander 2 they still wanted him to do it for free lol

I felt that immorality had driven the Kurgan in the movie a lil insane. He represented disorder and chaos to Connors balance and order.

Still the best film in decades and decades!!!!! Alot of its perfection also comes from the mastery of Michael Kamen….

How come the the guy who wrote Highlander still pronounces MacLeod ...macloyd
