I think Pocahontas is underrated in the opinion that it's not considered by most as a real Disney Masterpiece in the same breath as Snow White and Beauty and the Beast, Fantasia, or to a lesser extent the movie that came out the year before The Lion Ling. But Pocahontas should be considered as one of Disney's classic animated masterpiece s

@@Nofret5 At the very least I can confirm that surname is one of the surnames of a list of people confirmed to be descended from Pocahontas, so it is possible. I could have paid additional money to see the family tree exact names of these people from the genealogy websites recording it, but that's a waste of my money since I am definitely not a descendant of Pocahontas so it's of no use to me haha. Was easy to find the surnames though! They've been doing a lot of tracking on her descendants in recent years.

Maybe it's because she's such a thoughtful character, deeply spiritual, and at one with nature and the great spirit. She's more of a woman than the other Disney princesses. She cares about unity. Having a man in her life is just a part of it, not what she seems to feel is the purpose of her existence while the other princesses are mostly all teenagers totally into their boyfriends (princes).
