Probably the best harmonies I've ever heard. The annointing of God was definitely on their music, they had an incredible gift absolutely. God opens the door for our gifts, and He certainly did with this family. Loved hearing them share. They had such a genuine joy in their countenance. I was really encouraged by this as a singer. Pretty amazing when you consider that thay wete self taught, no autotune etc, just pure talent.

Their vocals together still give me goosebumps after all these years. They have such an anointing on their music, and after hearing their hearts for the Holy Spirit's leading, it isn't any wonder why. I wish there were more bands like them right now. They just don't come packaged like this anymore.

Amazing... 2nd of Acts ministered to me many years ago, I am French and had their cassettes. Now I understand why I loved them... They loved Yeshua so much! No compromise, humbling themselves and let him shine... Blessings from Zion! I live now in Israel with my family. 💙

Love these guys so much! I miss that time. There was nothing like that era. Just a genuineness and skill level that doesn’t exist in today’s Christian music. I saw them live when I was a young teen in Elizabeth, NJ and it stands out as one of my favorite concerts. I learned to play bass listening to this stuff. (I’m a big Lee Sklar fan too!!)

Awesome memories. I only saw them in concert one time (SF Bay Area), so most was without video, but just a pure vinyl LP stereo that defied anything else available at the time. The amazing part if that the music has aged very well these past 40 years (2023) and just as fresh as originally sung in 1983. Thank you for publishing this rare documentary on KZbin!

WONDERFUL BAND !! One of my very favorite bands of all. 2ndCoA could have ruled mainstream music charts and Billboard, etc. Thankfully they were not just about that, but about telling the message of the Gospel and deep worship. Such sweet and powerful worship! Thank you, 2nd Chapter of Acts ! God bless you !

OMG and I mean oh my glorious God! I'm 67. My wife and I had all of their albums and saw them twice. You guys had the glory of God running so through you. Your harmonies being brother and sisters were like a freaking miracle. I was SO lifted up watching this that there are no words. Thank you for staying with it and blessing the Church in such a huge way as you did. Matthew, your solo albums that you put out after your days with cancer helped me through a pretty tough time. At one point I think I slapped on some headphones and listened to the whole album with Holy is the Lord for two straight weeks. Life has many unfortunate turns, we get old and a bit more tired, but there is no doubt that I will get the pleasure of hearing you guys in my permanent home with my creator and Savior. Hopefully I might get that chance to add a part with you all. (If there are any left) Ha! THANK YOU!

Saw Second Chapter live in Toronto in 1985, having heard only Singer Sower. Still probably the best CCM concert I have been to. The concert opened in the pitch dark with Bread Of Life (from the previous album Rejoice) a cappella. Soul-melting even as a memory 37 years later. And they opened the second set as everyone was still milling about and talking, with Room Noise. Genius.

Invaluable documentary. And a wonderful impression of a Christian world which was very different from what it is now - not always better, but certainly different. What I always remember about the 2nd Ch. of A. trio is their unwavering authenticity, which stood the test of time. They could always sing some faith in me when needed.

Timeless beauty. The 2nd Chapter of Acts was ahead of its time. Just like the diamond Annie spoke of, a diamond is forever. I believe that we will be singing some of their songs in heaven. Nonetheless, we were/are so blessed to have a taste of heaven on earth through the truly anointed music of The 2nd Chapter of Acts. All glory, honor, blessing, and praise be to God Almighty. 🙌

And they still are, 🤣we ain't Home yet 🙏🙏👍 What a absolute 😘 gift it was to see the 2nd Chapter of Acts at The Fox Theater in Atlanta Ga back in the early eighties. Keith Green, Larry Norman, Randy Stonehill and The Phil Keaggy. I used to go to Metro Bible study in north Atlanta and Mylon Lefebvre was just getting cleaned up from the world. Been There and Done that. He was kind enough to chat with a fellow Ragamuffin, and share tools for the Journey Home 🙏

It it truely a rare special gift of God to create a family who can harmonize so beautifully. And that doesnt take into account of the miracle of putting that together with creative and instrumental skill all into one package. If I was them I think I might say after listening to a recording "did that come from us?!!". Of course I think after thinking about it, no it came from more than us.

My parents would get christian records consisting of all sorts of christian bands and artist's in the mail. I remember as a toddler hearing my older siblings playing the album foot notes on vinyl along with other artist such as Barry McGuire's album seeds which had these guys singing the backings. My brother purchased love song and Andre Crouch etc. Later on my brother got how the west was one and Michael and Stromie Omartian with the 2nd chapter of acts, later on we got their hymns tapes. I was 14 when this video was put together now in my 50s and Iv just only seen them being actually being interviewed. From NZ

Finally a video that shows Nelly Greisen interviewing. I haven't figured out why the camera crew have always focused on the other two almost the entire time, as though Nelly wasn't part of the band. It's so bad that I'm actually getting sick of seeing them because it looks like they were glory seekers who wanted the limelight while Nelly was always the sincere one. Losing her parents must have been a real setback, but in the long run she is stronger because of her trials. I have always admired the other two, but not as much as Nelly, so sometimes I wish I could find a video of them where the other just buttt out and let Nelly have some air time.

We all need to be saved from having to spend our eternity in God's lake of fire, because that's a fate we ALL deserve. So be SAVED and believe that God LOVES us so MUCH that He manifested Himself on earth as the Lord JESUS Christ who shed His sinless blood for the forgiveness of our sins, who was buried and rose from the dead, three days later, 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If you believe this you're not only saved but sealed with the Holy Spirit and rapture-ready. Read your Bible everyday and talk to our creator about everything and make Him your best Friend and share this GOOD NEWS = GOSPEL with others.
