Yesterday was the premiere day of the new season of The Slowdown. www.slowdownsh... A magical podcast that brings you a poem a day. I’m honored to have composed and produced the music for it, and proud of my collaboration with the show’s producer Myka Kielbon and host Major Jackson. I’ve been asked many times… how do you write music for film or media? What’s the process? How do you work with your clients? After wanting to do this for a while, I’m finally rolling out a series of short web documentaries showing the “making of” The Slowdown music. You get to be a fly on the wall at my studio #theplazaroja and observe how it all happens. Sometimes it’s not pretty, and it gets real.
I hope to inspire any creative people with these videos, and I look forward to hearing what you all think.
