Religion is so attractive to people because you don't need to be intelligent, or have a degree in anything to defend and promote something you can speak very confidently about. They never run into a wall that they cannot jump over, go around, or just smash through. This is possible when you are making things up as you go along. In this day and age and we still have people who wish to be slaves to a cosmic dictator that was created by our desert dwelling and barbaric ancestors. Nest time you or your loved ones get sick, take them to a temple, mosque, church or cathedral. instead of a hospital where math and science rules.

💡THE GOSPEL OF THE WORD OF ALMIGHTY GOD "the last age in which God saves man from the destruction of this old world" (I have sought many in the world to be My disciples. I have divided them into different categories according to people's loyalty to Me. You have all become moths in My house and things to be thrown away with hatred. ☀️ Because none of you love the truth, only people who long for grace, to ascend to heaven, to see the inspiring--miraculous vision of Christ using His power on earth. But have you ever thought how a person like you who has become so wicked, who does not know what God is, can be worthy to follow God? How can you go to heaven? How can you be worthy to witness the greatness, which has no equal? Your mouths are full of words of deceit and evil words, betrayal and pride. You have never spoken faithfully to Me, no holy words, no words of submission to Me when experiencing My word. What, in the end, is this faith of yours? Your hearts are full of desires and treasures; your thoughts are full of material things. Every day, you calculate how to get from Me, checking how much wealth and how many material things you have obtained from Me. Every day, you wait more and more for more grace to descend upon you so that you can enjoy more and more pleasant things. That is what is in your mind at every moment and not Me or the truth that comes from Me, rather your husband (wife), sons, daughters, or what you eat and wear, and how you can enjoy more and more pleasant things. Even if you punch your stomach until it overflows, aren't you little more than a corpse? Even if you adorn your appearance lavishly, aren't you still a walking corpse without life? ☀️ You work hard for the sake of your stomach until you grow white hair, but no one is ready to sacrifice even a strand of his hair for My work. ☀️ You are always in a hurry, tiring your body, and torturing your brain, for the sake of your flesh, and your sons and daughters, yet not one of you shows any concern for My will. What else do you want from Me? I never rush My work. No matter how much people follow Me, I will do My work according to every step, according to My plan. ​@@vuuspaldingThere are many Christian scholars around who have degrees in philosophy, languages, religion, history, and 'hard' sciences like mathematics and physics. Many were intellectuals with prestigious credentials before they came to faith (Derek Prince, Dr. Simon Greenleaf, Lee Strobel, C.S. Lewis), and many believers in the past 2,000 years have been keenly interested in why we believe what we do, and how Christianity came to be. I'd recommend checking out Gary Habermas, he goes into great detail regarding the evidence backing Jesus' life, death and resurrection, and he often cites critical New Testament scholars; people who don't believe Christianity but still have actually studied where the New Testament came from, and accept that it has objectively historical truth in it, it wasn't just concocted by a gaggle of men looking to enslave the populace. As for "making things up as we go along," we've literally had the same book for the better part of two thousand years. Some interpretations and traditions may change with surrounding culture and time, but the core doctrine of the Bible remains the same.

​@@vuuspaldingWhen you read and study the Bible, you can plainly see that it wasn't just from the minds of primitive desert-dwellers. The Bible contains amazing references to scientific phenomena. Genesis and Job describe the springs at the bottom of the ocean, Job talks about undersea currents, there are references to wind currents and the water cycle. The cleanliness laws given to Israel by God in the Torah were millennia ahead of their time. There are instructions about quarantining the diseased, disinfecting their homes, instructing them to change clothes and wash with running water. It took Europeans a thousand years to figure that out, even with the Bible in their possession. More importantly, the Bible tells us what's wrong with our world, and what sin is. God's Law hangs on two commands, "Love the LORD your God with all your heart," and "Love your neighbor as yourself." So think about your own life. Do you consider yourself a good person? How many lies have you told people? How many times have you stolen from someone, even if it was small? Jesus taught that if you look at someone to lust after them, you commit adultery in your heart. He also taught that if you're angry at a brother without a cause, or if you hate, it's judged as seriously as murder. How many times have you done these things? How often have you used God's Name in vain, used it like a cuss word, when you wouldn't insult someone you love like that? You and I, and everyone, have violated God's Law by wronging God directly and wronging our neighbors, and because God is holy and absolutely just, He must punish lawbreakers with death and hell. Romans chapter 6 says "the wages of sin is death." A guilty criminal may scorn the judge he stands before, call him a tyrant and insist that his crimes were no big deal, but that doesn't negate the judge's authority and responsibility to see justice done, because the criminal has done wrong. The good news is that because God loves us, and doesn't want anyone to die because of their sins, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins. He lived the morally perfect life we couldn't, then laid down His life to pay the price, so we wouldn't have to. If you're in court with a stack of fines you can't pay, you're in trouble, but if someone steps in and pays for you, the judge can legally let you go because the law has been satisfied. That's what Jesus did for us. That's why His last words were, "It is finished." He was saying that the work was done, the debt was paid in full. Then, after Jesus was buried, He rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death and proving what He claimed about Himself. The tomb was empty and people's lives were changed. They were willing to be persecuted and die painfully in order to tell the world they saw Him risen, face to face. So if you turn away from your sins and trust in Jesus alone to save you, like you'd trust a parachute, then God promises He will give you a new, clean heart with new, clean desires, you'll be saved and have everlasting life. Not because you're good or you deserve it, but because God is good and rich in mercy. I know I wrote a lot, but I pray that you think about these things. Check these things out for yourself, give it serious thought, come to God with a humble, open heart. God bless you.

Blessings to you. James 2 can be a challenge for some to understand, but I suggest you read it again and ask yourself one question: Who is the faith dead to, the saved person or the person looking to the saved person for proof that the living Christ abides in him? If we need to repent (which is works) to be saved then someone should have told Jesus before his arrival that he need not come because we can handle things ourselves. The formula is straightforward, "it is finished," meaning, PAID IN FULL. Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8-10. GOD bless!

Luke 9:23! Because Christ Jesus has accomplished all on the cross for me. I can do nothing less than to appropriate his work in the practise of belief and live my life in the light of eternity. Where my "works" are death to self, following in obedience/service which is my worship, praise to His glory! My works! Faith! So then, Luke 9:23. And so then my works of faith, practice of belief, following in service to His glory, brings God pleasure and joy. Religion is so attractive to people because you don't need to be intelligent, or have a degree in anything to defend and promote something you can speak very confidently about. They never run into a wall that they cannot jump over, go around, or just smash through. This is possible when you are making things up as you go along. In this day and age and we still have people who wish to be slaves to a cosmic dictator that was created by our desert dwelling and barbaric ancestors. Nest time you or your loved ones get sick, take them to a temple, mosque, church or cathedral. instead of a hospital where math and science rules.

I do not like parts of this sermon, finding it somewhat irreverent about angel and the supervisor, being said to get laughs? The thief on the cross would never have said, I don’t know…. Oh yes he did know why because the scriptures say that he rebuked the other thief, saying ‘Dost thou not fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation? And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deed: but this man hath done nothing amiss. And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom…’. Luke 23:40-42. @@RSMR7. Paul was referencing Joel 2:32, which is the last verse of Joel’s description of Pentecost. Paul wrote to believers in the church in Rome. When you take one verse instead of the entire passage, you can make that verse say almost anything you want. Rm 10:13 needs to be read with Rm 10:9-12, if not the whole of Chapter 10. Then of course you need to read Matt 7:21-23. Just calling on the Lord verbally does not save you. When you call on on the Lord, it requires genuine faith, Rm 10-14.
