But it isn't the sheep that bring food to the shepherd to eat, Nor do they bring him water to drink nor protect him from dangers whether it be predators or just the elements of nature. It is the shepherd who provides the sheep food and water for nutrition and security and protection from all kinds of dangers. So the question is who serves who?

If we could eradicate the word Sinner from the vocabulary of believers we would do such a great service to undue the weight of religiosity that has been thrust upon believers. As a young 10 year old boy watching the crucifixion of Christ in a movie back in the 1960's I remember so clearly the voice of Christ in my heart saying, "I did this for you!" Ever since then I have continually come back to the Cross where my salvation was hammered out by my Redeemer.

They believe that Christ will save man by grace. But they believe that it is after all that man can do. So there is salvation by grace, but works are still an important aspect of life. The idea that I can just tell "Jesus to take the wheel" whenever, without having made any effort at all on my own to solve my problem denies my own divinity. Because truly Christ was the Son of God, but he also gave men the power to do the same.

Many new Christians including some older ones who don't "Continue" to seek to get closer to Jesus, after salvation, begin to tell themselves; "I can't be saved anymore because I've sinned to much. So I MUST have lost my salvation because of my bad Works!" Hogwash, after salvation we're not saved by what we have or haven't done, we're saved because Jesus said so. He, Jesus, paid that price on the Cross and it can NOT be unpaid or undone by us or anyone else. God won't undo it as his character before He sent Jesus Numbers 23:19 says; He is "NOT a man that He should lie". Jesus said on the Cross; Luke 23:34 "Father Forgive them, because they do not know what they are doing;" If Jesus said so that's it period. So we should not be asking ourselves if we're still saved, we should be asking ourselves how much have we stored up in Heaven because of what He did! We can't loose our salvation, we can only have his protection removed from our "Physical Bodies" and the situations around us. 1 Cor. 5:5 "I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus." Remember Jesus died for us, While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us to pay the debt. 1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins "HE" is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 2:1 "My little children, I am writing these things to you that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous; 2. and He Himself is the propitiation for our sins;" So the debt is paid and can't be unpaid. So the question is do you wish to sin without remorse or asking forgiveness and have Jesus turn your flesh and every situation around you over to Satan. If so then you have little to nothing in Heaven, or would you have remorse for your sins, ask forgiveness, repent and receive that forgiveness from Jesus and be in the right standing with God.
