It goes to show you that your age does not matter. I have had multiple opportunities that have told me that I feel we need someone younger...I would take Michael's wisdom way more than someone half his age. You cannot replace the time spent in the field. The old 10,000 hours is true. Thanks for putting up this content. I bought his book right away. This is stuff is gold..I took copious notes while watching. I also subscribed. Thanks Matt

I've just bought Michael's course and wow. Man if I'd known half the stuff he teaches I would have gone so far and not tarnisehd my impression of what selling was really all about. I always felt like such a fraud when I sold banking products earlier on in my career. That coupled with pressure was a recipe for disaster. I just had to find a way that worked for me. I'm so happy now that Ive come across Michael who's values resonate so much with me. I feel like I can start again.

I sold in the home improvements in the UK 30 years ago my sales manager was a "hard closer" so I picked up that trait and it worked to get me off to a good start. The managing partner said to a few of us "you young guys would do better with a little more empathy" it helped,also backing off sitting back being more relaxed and having fun w it was a major win! (was hard to do bc your in it to ink paper) The customer really only understands the experiences they are feeling and will justify the decision and pick you, it makes the closing sooo much easier.

@Salesman21
@Salesman21 Жыл бұрын
So from 38:30 to 41:26 you addressed Jeremy Miner "reskinning" Michael's process (almost identically, and you'll see that in "how to sell Network Marketing" by Michael Oliver) but did you ever get Michael's opinion on that particular fact maybe behind the scenes? All we got in the video was their relationship pre NEPQ reaching a large scale.

@@m19y29 I’m curious to know Michael’s opinion. If you don’t care to know… don’t infringe on my curiosity. In the video Kaleb mentions how Jeremy is extremely intolerant towards others that have came through nepq and decided to teach their version of the process. Nothing wrong with me wanting to know Michael’s opinion. The title of the video is “the man behind nepq” it’s just odd when someone starts all of their content with “sales gurus are wrong and this is the new age of selling I developed through studying human behavior at xyz university and learning sales myself” lol

I want to ask Michael if this way of selling would be right for my industry? Its fast paced and heavy reliant on presentation first. I sell hair products to women that i stop in a mall. And most of the times I dont get more then 10 minutes, if that. I deal with lots of outside factors too, like they are in a hurry,or their annoying kids are nagging them and most of them just dont want to buy anything.

Yes Jeremy's framework came straight from Michael. There are minor tweaks Jeremy made that fit his personality a bit more, but yes it's literally almost a carbon copy framework. I've been in NEPQ 2.0 and I've worked directly with Michael. Jeremy is a thief. Michael just isn't the type to sue over someone for that. All I know is, what goes around comes around, and even the elite trainer in Bill Walsh (used to work at 7th Level) knew that Jeremy stole from Michael

Not sure why everyone is hating on Jeremy Minor. JM (Jeremy Minor) didn't steel this guys content. Sure its probably the similar, but marketing and sales training is broad in general. Best example is that there are countless ice cream companies, some generic, some name brand, but at the end of the day its all ice cream. It comes down to sales and marketing. Does everyone hate Steve Jobs for taking the mouse from Xerox, no, we thank him for using that under utilized technology. Jobs was a genius. JM is younger, smarter, sharper and good at sales and marketing. That's all he is guilty of. Nothing against Mr. Oliver, seems like a great guy too. I don't think this Oliver vs Minor and thats why Mr. Oliver is not complaining or claiming that JM stole is his material.

The thumbnail is exact template from Diary of a CEO which is a very big channel and the title is click bait brand jacking. At the end of the day the reason for you doing that is to not just promote Michael but your channel. I guess it’s one way to get some more views. The kind of video like this always pumps up more views especially when attached to a known brand. My guess if the video title said “Natural Selling and Michael Oliver etc” without the recognized thumbnail you’d be looking at a couple hundred views at most. The exact thumbnail-jacking is ironic since the video title implies about how the original should get more credit.
