As Malcolm X (El Hajj Malik Shabazz) said I don't need a religion which does not allows me to fight for my freedom.
@jameswray5010 жыл бұрын
How about a religion where there is no need to fight for freedom? I'm an atheist, and I live in the West. I have no religion or desire for religion, and my life is peaceful with relative freedom. Muslims think islam is being threatened (some muslims) but the truth is that no one give a damn what you believe. No one is trying to keep you from being free. Extremists are keeping people from freedom by using fear to control people.
@mosaabel-ouardani154010 жыл бұрын
DaCamponTwee What you need to understand is that the Extremists got a point and yes you guys don't care what we believe but because of what you do the 'Western' Muslim generation is following western behaviour such as adultery, pornography, intoxications (Wine and Alcohol) and other haram (Forbidden) acts within Islam. Back to the point that in other countries Muslims are fighting for freedom from their dictators what were planted there by western powers for example King Saud of Saudi Arabia was planted by Britain to enforce democracy upon the inhabitants. The real difference between Extremist and Moderate is the implementation of Shar'iah (Gods Law) and just living in a low where the people hold superiority not God.
@mosaabel-ouardani154010 жыл бұрын
Alfred Simcik Im not talking about the Middle East, I am talking about Islam - Islam forbids Adultery, Intoxications, Pornography, Rape and other sinful acts. Unfortunately there is not one Islamic state in the world today, In the middle east and Iran where you say they commit drugs and so on don't follow their religion. This isnt just with Islam its with Judaism, Christianity (If the people follow it) and other major religons. I didn't say all Westerners commit acts such as adultery but what I am saying is that it is 'Normal' for a girl and boy 14/15 to meet in a night club and have sex after getting really drunk and high on weed. Yes there are many good westerners especially the westerners of the 19th century that condemn what the young generation commit in their life - just sitting on their phoens all day - going out for sex - getting drunk on a Friday night and so on. Keep in mind that I am not trying to offend you in any way or the west but just displaying me and many others thoughts on the current west. Just to clarify the middle east doesnt have the highest obesity rates but it is incase America with the highest obesity rates and other European countries

What he did was necessary and patriotic. Evil prosper when good men do nothing. Not pardoning his actions, because clearly it was heinous to an extent but at the same time, Bakr did what should be a decade/regular drill, and that is to put the government in check when things get to corrupted and out of hand. We need to stop act like the government is saints or their initiative is to provide economic and social incentives to stimulate change, growth and development as opposed to self-satisfaction and personal agenda in the form of ruthless corruption and state sponsored terror sim in the nefarious narcotic trades. In the Caribbean, there has been many uprisings and anarchy in the form of Cuban, Haitian revolutions and Jamaica uprisings. What make this man so bad is the way it is propagated as the first and only Islamic uprising and government takeover, in the Western Hemisphere which is true, but opposed to its prime purpose which was to debilitate corruption and send a message.

I've always said that abu bakr is a ver charismatic leader, able to make the most determined men follow him after a few conversations. That being said, he was once one of the most dangerous men in the western underworld. While he makes a lot of sense in this interview, he also has to answer many questions with variations of the truth and always to make sure that he protects himself at all times during the questioning. Yes there was a lot of control by the jamat in the criminal underworld and they kept things relatively civil. But the also whiped out anyone who could oppose them. Yes they had the best intentions of cleaning up the country with their attempted coup, but they also had their own agenda. Not to mention they went about it completely wrong. It's not what you do, but how you do it. All this being said, the journalist may not have even realised how much danger he was in when abu bakr said "you are insulting my intelligence". Remember at all times, this man controlled the likes of powers, wolfy, wounded, malik, nigga, sappy and a host more of overlords, seasoned and skilled killers, and men with the means of overthrowing a country or rot it out with murderous crimes, rage and bloodshed to rival some of the most bloody ecounters in latin america. Had he not been involved in the underworld and crime, he would have been 1 hell of a politician.

Ok as a citizen of Trinidad and Tobago I have something to say on the matter. Firstly if Abu Bakr is innocent as he claims to be, how did he get the guns to "police" the streets and form a coup. Guns are not manufactured in Trinidad nor were they cheap to get in mass numbers. Now I'm not saying he's the only one who was involved in the coup as ministers were conveniently missing that day. But he is free today because of a forced amnesty at gunpoint in Parliament.

Wow I cant believe some of the ridiculous comments ppl have posted. what is more important here is to read between the lines (for the trinis). this was a dark time in our history. I myself was six at the time and still don't understand why it happened and why the state chose to sign amnesty with Bakr and not persecute him but when this came out it was clear that drugs have been a big part of our economy and that 1990 was indeed the catalyst for where Trinidad is at this point in time. rampant with corruption, drugs crime and no resolve. people are struggling everyday to make ends meet and if your a nobody who doesn't know a somebody your arse is screwed. smh

Abu was exonerated of all charges after holding a coup in which multiple people lost their lives... Now, not only was he cleared of all charges that he mentioned in this interview, but he was paid a substantial compensation ($1MIL TTD+) by the Government.... Why??? He rightfully says he as the head of Jamaat, was in control of 'the ground' before the coup...which is curious, as I would think the TTPS would be in control to some extent... There's a lot more to this story... & if it comes out, a lot of ex & present Ministers & T&T businessmen (as well as Abu himself) will have a lot of awkward Qs to answer...

I was just in Morvant in April and I'm so happy to see that Vice is bringing attention to Trinidad. In my short visit being with family I felt safe but at night was a little nervous by the gun shots I could hear ringing out. Every morning reading the headlines of murder was a grim reminder of where I was. Everyone will tell you the same thing, "Trinidad has resources and money". The problem is that its bigger then Trinidad, the international drug trade that flows through the island is a world wide problem and cannot be simply cleaned up. Side note about Muslims in Trinidad, they are not your stereo typical extremist. When slaves were brought over from the east, Muslims, Hindus and others had to put aside their differences and work together for survival, along with the vast mixed population of people from all over the planet that still exist today.

***** well parts of what he left out is that the Jamatt mosque had bands of armed thugs that where involved in the drug trade, now weather or not he authorized these activities is still unknown but there where many a war between them and many other sects. The thing is that in the 90' most gangs where neighborhood gangs, so every area had its own crew who controlled the drugs in that area, the Muslims came in and tried to police these gangs. This was met with complete scorn, as it should. Another problem was that most of the people that joined the mosque where criminals who joined because they had so many guns available. Back then guns where scarce. The Muslims where met with heavy resistance to the point where gunfights started breaking out on sight. Add to that the fact that most of Abu Bakr street team was "reformed" criminals, they used their new power base to take over drug territory, again heavy resistance. When the Coup happened the Muslims weren't as organized as they thought because it was the Army, the Police and the neighborhood gangs VS. The Muslims and they where severely outnumbered. I know personally that this is part of the reason that so many guns hit the streets, the Muslims where abandoning cars full of guns in John John, Gonzales, Cariniage, Bethom estates, Lavantill...we found to abandoned cars full of guns and ammunition and emptied them out. The result was that the neighborhood gangs where now armed to the teeth. The muslims didnt necessarily "give up" controll of the streets, it just became a fair fight and much to dangerous. Im out of time for now. But I will say this, maybe his intention was good but he didnt have the control that he thought he did, and the amount of guns that where thrown into the worst area's during the coup is directly connected to the explosion of gun related violence in the country ever since.

It's easy to think he is innocent when you just see him speak during a video uploaded to KZbin. The man is a gang leader and back then he had the means to and did take control of the country. It didn't end where he took the government, many innocents were killed and he destabilised the entire country. He was no innocent. He had his motives and they may seem justified but one video does not absolve him of the crimes he committed and the ones he is committing to this day.

Josh Sammy yes josh u are so right...this man is a gang leader same way..he seems so believable and innocent.I remember when they tried to take down d country,my mom an dad had to hide us under the beds from all the gun fire,we were ordered not to leave our homes as they shot they prime minister...if you did'nt experience this first hand then u don't know the dangerous capability of this man and his organisation...and even tho they got amnesty I'm very happy that they got took to court to pay the bills for a burnt down city...yes restoring order back to a country is one thing but the price of death anarchy and instability is very bad,it brings turmoil

Heres how I here it someone he knew witnessed a crime that was done by people in power in the government she tried to report it after telling him what she saw and she was murderd he decided to make a citizens arrest of the people who were a part of the crime she reported to him I dont know all the details but I think that thats the right thing to do ..you have the right as a citizen of the united states to make a citizens arrest I dont know the laws there but they may be simular ? , I dont care if shots were fired because I dont have any sympathy for criminals "live by the gun die by the gun" sorry you had to hide or duck for cover but doesnt that happen normally with gangsters running your streets ? Personally I think all drug dealers and gangsters should be murderd on site they are just parisites feeding off the weak and poor and addicted ruining peoples lives , we all have a right to our opinion and this is mine also remember the news media in your town is bias to the drug criminals ie police air port sercurity dea oil tycoons political scum so they are going to spin the media to make a muslim a terrorist " im not a suporter of extremists " but I think the guy is not a bad guy

The fact is, no little poor boy in the back of John John, Pashley Street, Hell Yard possesses the money to get narcotics on the streets of T&T. Someone/ someones are getting the drugs into the country and then distributing it to these young men and women because they are struggling to survive. The disparity of wealth is such that the divide is so HUGE, the discontent as he says, will come to a head. A holistic problem on the streets and homes of Trinidad. Such a beautiful island. Real shame

Source Factory /Mr you are a hypocrit why is it difficult for people like you to see the truth. Islam is the only religion which doesn't want to be criticise but always criticise other religions. Islam is a drug very dangerous and by the way Muslims hate each other and killing each other. The Arab Islamic slave trade involved some of the most horrendous atrocities known against Africans. Western did not start slavery in africa it was this barbarian idiology which you call religion or Islam start slavery in africa. May be you don't know nothing about the pre-history but instead you went and waste time with this Arab cult . Go to Egypt and learn about the black history before the Arabs and the Greeks came there who were the people living there??? Go find out that education so that you weak up from darkness. How comes you are so brainwashed by the Islamic slavery. Between AD -650 and 1900, 10 to 20 million black African were kill by this barbarian muhammad Islam Over 28 million Africans have been enslaved in the Muslim world during the past 14th century Total of black African slaves enslaved by the muhammedan Islamic is 150 million black Africans Tell me where in the Islamic countries or Arab Islamic countries where sharia is implemented and women have their rights??? Over 500.000 Muslims in Britain are living under social fun?? Where in the Islamic countries they will have such opportunities? ?? Islam is brutal barbaric backwardness and there is no logic in your religion. Every godly person love humanity. Did you study the Islamic conquest? ? Go read that then you understand also that Islam is never a religion of peace and muhammad wag about 64 military wars / the worst evil man created by your god. If you don't want to weakup that's fine stay stupid and have good luck in life
