Plot Summary:
When a golden bullet arrives at the headquarters of British intelligence with "007" engraved on it, the British believe that James Bond is the next target for international assassin Francisco Scaramanga. 007 is given the assignment to kill Scaramanga before he kills Bond and collects his one million dollar fee.

Not fond of the Moore series. I don't think I've seen this one, but I did read the book long ago, and Bond spends a lot of time thinking how the other guy's gun is longer than his.

The book is completely different from the movie, I agree. They just took the name from the book as far as I know. Only plus is Christopher Lee's performance was exceptional to say the least.
