She says it like the towing fee is the hourly rate to park. No, that's the cost of them moving the vehicle and keeping everyone and everything safe. I'd ask how she could misunderstand that, but she kept saying that "we didn't know we _could_ park there" among other gramatical mistakes that told on her from the start. Then she went and told on herself some more with the rest. Awful person. At least her husband or whoever apologized on the day for making them wait, but I don't even know, having heard all that, if they weren't running around doing other things to make you wait on them.

I will be 50 in July, I've had handicapped parking rights since I was 34: I rarely use them!!!!!! If I pull up and see someone blocking or using a handicapped spots and they don't the plates/placards.....they will be sitting there until the police arrive because I will b parking directly BEHIND them and remaining there!

I’ve been driving a wrecker (Ram 5500 with a Chevron Renegade 408 T/A) for the last 15 years in a large college town here in Michigan. Last year alone I personally did 1,300 private property impounds and the company did 2,500 total between all the drivers. I stay busy all day, every day in addition to any other calls I run throughout the day. There’s so much entitlement in this world it’s downright sad. I very rarely feel sorry for anyone I tow. Once in a while I cut someone a break on the bill if they’re truly struggling with an old car but 99% of them are late model luxury cars. The students are some of the worst to deal with and the parents aren’t any better. They constantly threaten to sue but only 1 out of 250 actually follow through and the ones that do never win in court. Michigan has reasonable laws when it comes to removing vehicles off private property. I’ve heard some states are absolutely terrible when it comes to property owners rights to remove a car. It’s not my problem that people don’t read signs posted all over the property. It’s a $400 mistake of theirs and we only take cash to get it out as well since everyone wants to dispute charges on their cards. At the end of the day I enjoy my job a lot and make great money doing it.

My feelings on this are pretty well "set in stone" because I did NOT grow up entitled. I was only one of five children growing up and we loved and looked after each other. As one of the oldest children, I cared for and helped care for my younger siblings. We were taught to respect others. Just a little background to set the stage for this: My son and I currently own a home in a rural residential development on 2+ acres. If someone pulls up and parks in my driveway, I would NOT hesitate to have the vehicle towed. Our property is PRIVATE PROPERTY and is NOT intended to provide parking for someone else. I DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE "NO PARKING" signs on my private property, and I have NO WAY or inclination to determine who owns the vehicle and where they can be located. We own our property, we paid for it and we pay the taxes on it every year.

P.S. I am 79 years old and set in my ways, I admit that. However, I would NEVER park in a private business parking lot unless I was a customer of that business. Also I LOOK AROUND to make sure my vehicle is safely parked. I am now handicapped due to multiple major spinal surgeries, but I no longer drive because of vision issues, so I very rarely utilize the handicapped parking -- only when my son can drive. I do respect others' property rights.

Her husband never said anything about not seeing signs, and he was cordial. He likely knows she's lying about not seeing signs! She probably thought that Walgreens won't know if they are customers or not, and would not know how long they were there! If she wants to pay people to stand in a parking lot, to tell people to move their cars, because they ignore the signs, she's welcome to do it at her business. Expecting others to do it, because entitled people like her, park where they want, is ludicrous! There are drivers who don't care what the employees say about not parking in their lot, and will park there anyway! She sounded drunk, and couldn't comprehend Walgreens loses customers when people like her take up parking spots. When she said no one was in the store, I choked! There was no one in the store because she, and other non-customers took the parking spots, so they couldn't get into the store! UNBELIEVABLE!

There were signs on the Building walls and where they parked two spots over there was a sign . Then the lady said she was willing to do credit card fraud so she thinks she is above the law she can do whatever she wants even if it's legal or against the law well guess what lady it looks like your bad ways are changing up with you. The tow Company was very nice to you the only one you could be made at is yourself . If you didn't know if you could park there way didn't you go inside of Walgreens and ask for a manger and ask if it's ok to park there if they say No then you could have ask if they now were a place. I bet from home you could have looked online for free parking for events

Same here! As someone who also has difficulty walking and has a disabled parking pass, I STILL try not to park in disabled spots if there are any other options available because I’m thinking about other disabled people who might be even worse off than me. Yet this lady thinks it’s perfectly fine to use disabled spots whenever she wants just for her convenience. Entitlement doesn’t even come close!

Hours after watching and I still can't believe the level of entitlement she has! As a disabled mom with a disabled child we have the legal right to park in disabled spots, but I try to avoid it. There's always someone having a worse day than myself. If it's a bad joint day I'll park in disabled. Even then I try to avoid the disabled van spots. That way someone in a wheelchair or other mobility aid has the extra room. Even on our bad days we don't need all that extra space. I've given up disabled spots at a busy place like a mall at the Christmas season, hospital and medical offices. Most people who have wheelchair lifts and similar aids have vehicles that are easy to identify. It's only happened a few times, but I'll get back in the car to move after flagging them down so they can take the spot. I can't believe she admitted to ignoring the LAW and rules. Credit card fraud!? What else does she believe she's entitled to? I feel for the people in her community. Definitely not a good neighbor and overall human.

My husband and I are there almost every weekend. I love that Walgreens, and if you've ever been there, you know how huge those signs are. There used to be one on the side of the building as well.
