I need help with my Batman story. I want Catwoman to be older than Batman. In this story, they have a 15 year age gap and I don't know how old to make Batman. How old should he be? I made him 21 but people flip out about age gaps sometimes and I want people to watch this show. I'm 22 and I have a thing for older women so I wanted to include that in my story.

My impression of Boba Fett was always that he was this cold hearted, dangerous and silent demeanored legendary bounty hunter, who posed a threat to the heroes of the story. Where he seldom hesitated action. Hell even Vader told him to calm down with "No Disintegrations". Yet in Book of Boba Fett he's this merciful, compassionate man who loves animals and needs the protection of power ranger mopeds.

@@xomegaxz5799 kind of the whole point behind training is to help someone be aware of the potential dangers to a wielder. Energy weapons are sophisticated but expect to get burned if you're not careful about heat buildup in a ranged weapon or the fact that a melee weapon can also cut users. Outside of the new trilogy I don't think we've had anybody just pick up a lightsaber and wield it masterfully without training or the extras extrasensory perception granted by The Force.

On the Badass of Boba Fett, I agree with Alex. When we first see Fett, he is just a brutal badass. And I think that’s what we wanted more of in his show when it’s the current timeline. The flashbacks, build him up and fill in the gaps for the time he’s gone, but in the current day he should be that guy that people respect by his legacy and reputation. Personally, the only time you should actually hear Boba’s name is in whispers because people are afraid to say it out loud. That’s the kind of respect we are still hoping for
@tomesjt7642
@tomesjt7642 2 жыл бұрын
I think it is coming. I know we all harping on this neutral treaty and his “respect” over “fear” mantra he has demonstrated; but this also seems ripe for sucking us into that fan bashing/disappointment and make his actual “neutralization” of all crime families in the end. Keeping them neutral allows him to be strong and justification for their destruction when they turn on him (which they inevitably will). Anyway that is my hope. He tries to influence, but then realizes he must incinerate instead. And the end of the book isn’t just one dead crime lord (Bibb in the beginning) BUT ALL crime lords but Bobba. Setting up a larger conflict with Hutts and maybe even emerging 1st Order.
@Tlukewow1

@@tomesjt7642 to take from your assessment I agree. I think “Boba Badass” is coming. The Bacta tank showed him losing his family TWICE now and they made a point to say he was finished with his healing. And his skin looks normal. I’m wondering if maybe Boba was genuinely weaker than ever before and that fight with the troopers in Mando S2 took the rest out of him following getting his ship back from Jabbas Palace. I get how Boba could come to the conclusion that he's tired of terrible leaders almost getting him killed with their poor decisions. I can also get how he could come to the conclusion that he can't succeed without allies. But to me this contradicts his behavior toward these leaders WHO ARE those terrible leaders that are almost getting him killed. It seems like he'd be forming alliances with these more independent groups and entities to overthrow those leaders. And kudos to the show on that; giant wookiees and cyborg bikers(as silly and "trust fund kid" as they look) fit that bill. But I don't see why he would show these other gang leaders much respect at all, particularly after they're like, "Yeah, we aren't helping you". They are the epitome of those people he's fed up with.

Filoni's an executive producer/lore gate keeper/Lucas purist/Legends enthusiast/& only co-writer thus far on both series. And people are loving all the prequel era content/TCW's threads/Rebel's lore that the movies ignored. Even The successful "Jedi Fallen Order" game was a smash hit & its prominently taken straight out of the Filoniverse as well.

That scene with him slaughtering all the bikers is only "badass" until it comes out that the Pyke syndicate murdered the Tuskens and framed the bikers. Between the facts that Fennec showed doubt that the bikers by themselves couldn't take out a Tusken camp and he didn't bother quesioning any of them to find out why as there wasn't really any reason for them to do so. The Pykes had plenty of reason to want them gone after the gun train debacle and to have them immediately say "nah...we're not taking your protection from you because we're already paying the bikers you hate" made Obi Wan do a force roll over in his grave about what "were were meant to believe". The armorer is obviously against blood ties, when she says what she has to say about Bo'kataan and her familial bloodline and how she emphasizes the phrase "This is the way." She believes in the culture vs rights by blood. This is further proved by how she agrees to make the armor for Grogu, which could be explained by her beliefs vs rights. And my final explanation for her stance is that she offers Mando the information to redeem himself. The fact that Mando fights a descendant of Tar'Visla and beats him while not wielding the Black Saber proves that no matter of bloodline it's truly just a symbol and that people cant just claim the Dark Saber for themselves thinking that it will make them a leader, blood ties or not.

I interpreted the Pykes being too damn powerful and dangerous that not even the (New) Republic would fuck with them. If the Rebels lost, the Empire would’ve switched focus to destroying or assimilating all the criminal empires to establish galactic order.

That's why you guys don't like it. If he was exactly like Mando, then there would be no point, if they behave the same. Might as well have been Mando S03 then. Here Boba is not the same guy. He's been thru hell, what he went thru with the Tuskens etc. He's humanized here. Not a mysterious bounty hunter anymore. Whereas Mando is on the top of his game.

No, in some cases people dislike this show because it fails to properly set up and explain Boba Fett's character. After all, why would such a human and vulnerable character - as you claim him to be - be working as a Crime Lord?? I will partially agree with you that the fanboys are partially to blame. It's why the backstory is rushed, why he's a crime Lord, and why the Mandalorian makes a cameo. Disney wants everyone's money and this show is suffering for it.

Boba shouldve been killing Hutts and giving us his legit thoughts on his father, Vader, Solo, Obiwan, Luke, jedi in gerenal, empire vs republic, etc. Mando got to connect to other lore from external shows, but Boba cant for no good reason. This show has not yet made our understanding or care for Boba deeper than it was already.

I just love how Joe and Alex seem to be so much done with Joe's Mando antics at the beginning ^^. Bryce Dallas Howard is levelling up so hard on the Mandalorian series (yes, I don't care what people would say, this was a Mandalorian season 2.5 episode to me). In just 3 episodes of 30-40 minutes, each getting exponentially better than the previous one, her progression is meteoric ! She has that fantastic balance between high stakes dynamic action scenes, but also knows when to slow down and cool the tension with some more intimate or introspective moments. As for the pimp my ride moment, I thought it was actually great that we spent so much time seeing Mando helping building his ship. Mandocanics is something I didn't know I missed since episode 2 of season 1, when he rebuilt his ransacked Razor Crest with Kuill. And the reason why it took so much of its sweet time is exactly what I mentioned above in terms of balance in Bryce's directing : The first half of the episode was JAM PACKED with action, intrigue, lore, forging a new armor for Grogu, training, space bridge duel, Din's excommunication... That's a LOT. So it was smart of her to put some slower, more intimate moments (the little kid on the space flight, triggering Din's melancholy about Grogu), and the building of his next ship (interjected with some corny furry Jawa jokes) right after so that the audience could chill out a bit and let everything that came before sink in. There is something zen about cleaning or building something over a long period of time, and after the eventful first half, the episode needed that. Also, once the long waiting of the build is over, we can really enjoy the Podracing test ride to its fullest, kinda like having to crouch first before jumping high and slam a dunk. If his ship was already completed right from the get go when he arrived, without the building montage, chances are that the emotional impact of his new ship test run would have been dampened as just yet another event that happens in his adventures, but we're talking about the replacement of the ship he used to call his home before (basically his space van). We were all as crushed as him when the Razor Crest, that had accompanied him (and us) for nearly 2 seasons got pulverized in front of our eyes in season 2, so it stands to reason that its replacement, that will most likely follow him for the next few seasons, was hardly anecdotal, and thus required some respect.

I hope they end up doing some kind of "badass redemption story arc where everything falls apart and he realizes the error of his ways" for the last two seasons and then spin him off to a recurring supporting role for the entire Mandalorian season 3 where they can continue to develop his character. THEN do a BoBF season 2 sometime in the future when they have expanded on the character a bit more and how he goes forward into The Future™.

This episode completely took me off guard. I knew Mando was going to show up but I thought it would be somewhat of a cameo role. This right here is Mando S3E1 and I would argue one of the best Mando episodes to date. Stunning direction, so much lore, fun references, great action. It really does make the previous Boba episodes stink so much worse.

I've said it in other threads, but I honestly believe they (Disney) literally plucked the episode right outta Mando Season 3. Since there has been a lot of backlash to BoBF, they figured showing an ACTUAL episode from the Mando Season 3 early in BoBF.

The shipbuilding montage is completely justified, that Naboo starfighter is going to be Mando’s version of Slave One, in twenty years time we’ll look back at it as an iconic ship, watching it get built is absolutely justified IMO.

I like the ship building montage simply because it was eye candy to me. The dragged out nature made me feel like I went through some actual effort to get to watch the ship fly, mirroring the effort the characters had to build it. A gripe i have in movies with training is when it happens so fast that i never feel the effort go in. Merging broken old republic tech was fun too. I just like when star wars gets wacky with the tech in the saga, so watching dozens of droids, a ring station, the siege, cool weapons, and a new awesome ship was a ton of fun. Edit: The universe felt extremely lived in, which is my key factor of liking star wars.

Everything in that 5th episode, Mando using the Dark saber, That ringworld seemingly based on Halo and the spaceport from Treasure Planet, Seeing the purge of the Mandalorian homeworld, The little droid resembling the one from the Jedi Fallen Order video game, The montage of the Naboo starfighter being rebuilt, Mando flying that starfighter through that pod race area, It's like Favreau is giving us something we never thought we wanted until we received it. :)

100% agree with AJ. I thought the mechanic scene was perfect in terms of pacing and lenght. But I get why it isn't everyones cup of tea. For me, space ships are the biggest draw to Star Wars and now we got a detailed look on the in and outside of a N1. It had heart and elevated the eventual flying scene.

Love your channel. I think Din checking The Dark Saber on the commercial flight is meant to illustrate how irresponsible he is with the weapon since he initially rejected it in the Mando season 2 finale. He doesn't want this responsibility and has not yet recognized the potential ability to lead an entire civilization in himself.

The VFX In this episode were cinema quality. Still finding it strange that they dedicated a complete 50 minutes to Mando when it's Boba Fetts show. If you just wipe your mind and just rate this episode on it's own it's an easy 10, but it drops to a 7 if you rate it as a Boba episode because it wrecks the continuity.

I think that the idea behind "We don't do weapons out of Beskar", is that they don't do weapons that threathen Mandalorians directly. They described the spear as "a danger for Mandalorians", so the little missiles doesn't count because they wouldn't be effective against Mandalorian armor.
