It's false hope. Don't let them steal your money again, just watch them go full woke again with some of the new movies and TV series. Favreau and Filoni cannot be everywhere at all times so soon enough the quality will degrade significantly. Example: Patty Jenkins, the director of one of the the WORST Superhero movies from the last 15 years called Wonder Woman 1984 (it just came out, utter trash!) is going to direct Rogue Squadron movie about starfighter pilots. It will be a disaster.

Yeah, Gideon knew about the armor. He even knows more about Mandalorian culture and Bo-Katan's personality than Din does. He was already calculating his defense even before Bo crash-landed the shuttle into the docking bay. He recognized her voice on the comm as she pretended to be a shuttle pilot. And because Din sent him that message about getting the child back (which, in hindsight, was rather unwise, LOL), Gideon already figured that Bo was probably there to take the ship and the saber, while Din would tag along to take the child. So as Gideon ordered the Dark Troopers to be turned on, he already guessed (based on his personal knowledge of Bo) that the team would split up, with Bo headed to the control room and Din to the cells to rescue Grogu. He's not a dumb villain. He figured that Bo would easily overtake the ship crew. So his strategy was to rely on the Dark Troopers, then set Din and Bo against each other -- by getting Din to fight him, becoming the unwitting victor and owner of the Dark Saber. He was hoping that by sowing distrust between them, they couldn't be unified enough to fight off the Dark Troopers. They would be doomed. And the only ones left alive would be him and baby Grogu. (As he said.) He never imagined a Jedi would show up and wreck those plans.

@chaoskitchen9357
@chaoskitchen9357 3 жыл бұрын
I keep thinking about him kicking the spear, and how it was likely to flip it into what he knew the next position needed to be. Normally he would probably just grab the spear with his other hand lower down, but it was red hot where he would grab. So Din had to calculate where he needed to get it and do it without touching the red hot part of the spear, and he had to do it in half a second. Like, even if I could get the spear in place normally (which I couldn't, lol) I would still probably just instinctively try to do it with my hands and then drop it screaming when I burnt right through the glove. Gotta love the little things that show how smart Din is.

@@ahiptothehop4077 performing stunts does't seem to have anything in common with actual martial arts skills. The main goal of a stuntman in this case is no to hurt his partner and then to show spectacular (but not always efficient fight), thus it is always safer to use a professional. P.S. Don't ever explore any historical weapon based martial arts (HEMA, Kendo etc), or you will newer be able to fully enjoy cinematic duels any more.

If the last episode showed us anything, it's just how vastly over-powered Jedi Masters are in comparison to anyone else on the show (who's not Sith). Luke tore through that Death Trooper contingent like they were butter. And Mace was arguably the most skilled Jedi who ever lived (with the lightsaber and probably second only to Yoda as a Force user).

Hey guys I'm an actor that specialises in action. Often even if an actor is capable (like Pedro) theyll still use a stuntman often instead of the two leads. This is because stuntys can adjust timing and pull punches on the fly and will take a punch or mistake without big consequences. Two lead actors have the habit of speeding up or changing timing or hitting harder than is necesssary. Last thing you want is a lead with a broken nose. Generally two leads will only fight for small stints and closeup moments or if they have had a lot of training time together like in the matrix. Hope that helps

@@PaulA-ru1cc Yeah I know. It’s just he did spear work in Game of Thrones so it would have been cool to know he did this scene also.

And here I thought they had chosen a spear to capitalize on Pedro Pascal's training from GoT. Ah well, if you have a good faceless character, you might as well use the best stuntman available I guess. You can't learn in a few month what takes years of practice. Stuntmen deserve more recognition.

I was wondering if Giancarlo Was the one fighting ortha use some stunt double for some scenes. It looks like he did everything himself which is very impressive. Overall I found his performance, as well as everyone else's to be excellent.

I'm confused they covered an entire season in one Behind-The-Scenes video on Gallery, and completely neglected to mention, you know, the big part at the end, and how they put that together.
