I am. This is an emblem of what true service looks like - not the groveling obeisance of a slave to form, but the loving kindness of a servant of love and slave to Truth. A Servant of the Highest does not chase after the world’s adulterated forms of ‘love’, but leads, demanding what Love really is. Love is not the sappy tail-chasing of weak and desperate cowards, but the fiery sword that demands Heavenly Love and nothing else. May the false loves and lovers be extinguished, for they taint the name of Love, degrading it to create evil on earth. Thus, do not make an idol of a word, or of wood, nor of love, nor water. What is true IS - it is not to be fawned over; Glorify what IS Real, not grope for what merely suffices in poor facsimile. A calamity it is to celebrate lowness, fancying dead works as Life, or alive, when they are cold. To be loving is not to be merely gentle and soft, as many demons without a heart are, but to care and to act and to destroy wrongdoing - to breathe fire, not to passively sip water. To go the extra mile, into the unseen, at all costs, for love - this is Faith. Isaiah 35:8 “Keynote of Joshua”: “And there shall be a highway, and a waterway, and it shall be called Yah High Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be easy for others: the holy one who walks the road with ardor, though a fool, shall not fall away.” (And they shall see what is there. Selah.)

As a woman and a follower of Jesus, my role in His kingdom is quite different than a man’s. Your videos both educate and convict me. If God has called us to raise up warriors for Christ, husband and wife must be equally yoked. Not it position, but in disposition. I believe it to be pivotal for women who are called to nurture families, to build tenacity and endurance, both physically and spiritually. The presence of dangerous, God fearing men in churches and communities is a profound gift to women and children. When men are obedient to their God given position of authority and masculinity, women blossom. Then we as women joyfully beautify, serve and nourish our communities. Thank you. There is no 'godly masculinity', and it surely does not consist in repressing your sexual desires for the sake of being seen as masculine in the eyes of others. Being secure in one's identity and not caring about the opinion of others is actually what real strength and bravery consists of. Not being a slave to a 2000 Bronze Age morality who you know deep down you have no assurance of whether it's even real or not.

There are endless interpretations of Christ that cater to endless stages in development. Everyone of them claiming to be the real truth of Jesus. A man's development is a work in progress& unique experience to his own life. Christians pick and choose what idea of Jesus best reflects what they are working on. The truth is that Jesus will meet you where ever you are; thus if you feel like a wuss, then here comes a book on masculine Jesus, if a man is too macho then there is a book talking about him being a lamb, then a lion, then a sage, then a healer, a yogi, vegetarian, carnivor, endlessly conforming to to the endless stages of human development in Christ. I have been trying to be more involved in truly valuing human life. I was preaching the gospel, and speaking out on my beliefs of human life being valuable from inception. And I had people that I personally interact with at work say things like “they respect death more than life” and after a while because they thought I was some weak man because I supported life not death, they started bringing up fighting and stuff. Basically trying to entice me to fight them but very subtly. But when I don’t focus on valuing others, I don’t have to deal with that. Because of the way I look they just leave me be. Even if I’m preaching the gospel they’ll leave me alone. They may speak and stuff but they won’t try to fight me. So I feel confused on what to do. On one hand I showed my real emotions and on the other I concealed them.
@SlimeOhIm9 ай бұрын
Most of this last year it’s been constant concealing. But I have gotten what I set out to get. I wanted people to be easily intimidated by me, and to force the respect from them. That worked. But now I see I don’t value anyone that way. I cant go preach the gospel while not valuing others. God showed me that showing my true colors and defending those stances is true courage. Not concealing them and making people afraid. Still I wonder how can I value others like the first example and not have others be rude. Am I truly supposed to not care about their rude acts? It feels like than I’m just being a puss and taking it.
@presupping4eva9 ай бұрын
@@SlimeOhImWe basically tempt God to do exactly the same when we take advantage of Him. So you are not being a puss, refusing to hurt them or unleash your wrath on them is a great illustration of what it means to love the Lord. We have access to this gift that is given to us by God, not because of anything we did (as we were lost) but because of what Christ did for us! That we now have the gift of salvation, a gift of eternal life! For all those who would put their faith in The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! That is amazing to me! I grew up without a dad but throughout my life I found worthy examples of men to incorporate into my development. Some godly, some not, but all demonstrated to me specific aspects of being a man. Some lived by a very hard code of conduct, had a willingness to suffer, desire to protect or provide and so on. I also learned the big difference between personality and character. Someone might have a great [manly] personality or mannerisms, but boy did they lack true character, and of course the vise versa of that.

amazing video, i agree many people focus on the feminine aspect to Christ rather than the manliness that was his sacrifice for our salvation

Amen, amen I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falling into the ground die, itself remaineth alone. But if it die it bringeth forth much fruit. No discipline, no growth.

You're correct on many points but consider this the tongue is to be bridled. Place deep consideration into what you say to others as it pertains to their sins, because what we say to others has potential to alter the plans God has for others. Be careful not to lose sight of the importance of love in your pursuit to be bold. The last commandment Jesus Christ gave his disciples before he was crucified was, "Love one another as you have loved me this is how they will know that you are of me."

This past year is the first year I can confidently say “I am a man”. A year and a half ago, I came within an inch of homelessness, lived my entire life dependent on my parents, or others. I realized that I got myself in this mess, and if I depended on others to get out I will have learned nothing. So a year and a half of 60 hour work weeks in a new trade, and a regimented gym routine later, and I can confidently say I am closer to the man I want to be than I ever thought I could be. The boy who I was 2 years ago feels like an alien. A complete other human. Accepting the state of the world and leaning into responsibility and diligence instead of away from it has rewired who I am from the ground up.
