I am a woman and I always post why are we not doing this. I have been abstinent by choice and some shallow men constantly putting me.down because I refuse to date a man who is not of marriage mentality. I started a church. Women love and raise your son's as men, men be the standard for your son's. I always had to do both roles because it really is almost impossible to find men who want to get married, even from Christian churches today. I am so happy to see the younger generations advising their peers to get married and being stand up me for their families.❤❤❤❤

Unfortunately, not all people are meant to be married. It’s not just about indentity crisis. Marriage is not the end game for everyone. Every man has a role to play in the society. And a man who’s not married doesn’t make him any less of a man. If he does get married, and that’s his calling, it’s his duty to head the family. But being “the head” doesn’t necessarily mean just entering marriage. A man for example who lost his parents at a young age, could still be the head of his bereaved family. Can step up for his siblings, etc. A man in government position, is also a head & still be the father figure of a country. Having said that, a man is not only defined by having or establishing his roots of just having his own family.

It seems strange to say someone is a Christian but speaks out against marriage. That's analogous to being a frog and speaking out against water. Marriage is a covenantal rite created by God - I don't understand why anyone who calls himself a follower of Christ would be against something that God establishes. That's not to say that everyone should marry or must marry. There are exceptions. But to be against marriage as a concept is a little unreasonable.

An important distinction to make: JESUS is the only one who can "restore society" and it's not going to happen on this side of Heaven. Only when God establishes a new and eternal creation will anything be "restored". The important this to be weary of is that we should not be tempted by pride to think it is our duty or even within our power to "restore society"

Jesus' reply is pointing out that the earthly purpose of marriage is not needed in heaven. There will be no sex or procreation. But there is one aspect of marriage that is eternal: “Love never ends” (1 Cor. 13:8). St. John Chrysostom reminds us that married Christians are known to be such in the Judgment and in the Kingdom. We will recognize and delight in our spouses and in our children. Indeed, remember God actually expects all men to lead women away from temptation / self destruction ... this was shown in the first story about Adam / Eve turning to dust at the end of life due to Sin & among other Stories in the Bible like with Noah protecting his (Tribe) his family, the people he's connected to the most from the Flood (Divine Judgement) that will inevitably come, instead of getting lost in the sea of the herd of people mindlessly going the wrong way into loving Sin above God then falling into divine judgement, you can be the one family like Noah to not glamorize & run deep into chasing Sin, although we all still have a sinful nature until the full law is written into our hearts, Noah was a very righteous man favored by God & if he did fall into Sin he would've repented. God expects men to be the spiritually stronger sex and to allow their women to tap into their strength, it is said that when men & women are joined together in the correct way "he becomes her strength, and she becomes his weakness" ... he doesn't will anything bad to happen to her or their offspring so can tap fully into all his divine power in his selfless agape love for her, the power of love is the power of God. Since women are more easily deceived / likely to fall into temptations & Sin then the natural order for every civilization should be for all Men to submit to God / Jesus Christ first, when no man desires promiscuous or unchaste & impure women we've seen time & time again how quickly women all respond to male desire & the male gaze so we see the return of more feminine women. Women respond to what men are attracted to, the surveys have gone from the vast vast majority of 18 - 22 yo young men expecting virgin brides on their wedding day in the early 1900s to mid 1950s, to less than 5% by the late 1990s and less than 1% to this day... I hope there's a great revival in Gen Z & Gen Alpha, for now most media & content is ruled/dominated by secular views and all the TV shows / films involve pre-marital sex, endless men leading women to lust & Sin, nowadays some women even become a lot more perverted than the men as the Christian apologist in the late 1800s and early 1900s Chesterton feared would happen with Chesterton's fence "Don't take down a fence unless you know why it was put up" men were supposed to save 10s of millions of young women from the pits of hades not guiding themselves & their "girlfriends" which there's no such word in the Bible, and the term girl friend is an oxymoron since men & women can't be "Friends" in the way they think.

This is all stuff I’d love to see culture find its way back too-but you’re out of touch in your own violently mistaken way if you don’t see the need to do more to address the current foundation most people are already ensconced in. This ivory tower style of naively zealous idealism makes not even the slightest practical attempt to bridge what is with what should be-leaving those who try to blindly transition without a good plan unwittingly doomed much of the time. We must be wise as serpents in this world of wolves. Like, I’m happy for you guys, and what you’ve got going on in your province-but the rest of society’s gonna need some radical revival before it can implement the guidance you’re laying down on paper. Get what I mean? Are you in touch with how degenerate things are out here? I don’t think you are. And so such advice, though well-intentioned, could unwittingly lead most young men into a meat grinder out in this beast system.

There is someting that i dissagree highly in concer of women having to be obidient no metter what. It is a total missrepresentation of Biblical law and shows it in an unjust light. 1st Eve was a gift from God to Adam, so a wife is also considered a gift from God. But a wife must be obidient to the Husband only if He is obidient to God. Womens job is to correct the men and to guide him is he is going against Gods will. She cannot listen to their husbands if they are going against God. The only reason we have authority is when God is the leader of the house. There is no blind obidience in CHristianity everything is build on Love, Trust. If a man is a sinner no wife should listen to her husbands
@milankurienov67688 ай бұрын
A women's job is to be obedient to her husband period. Just like her husband's job is to love her like Christ loved the church period. How much I love my wife doesn't depend on her love to me, and how much she respects me doesn't depend on my respect to her. We love and respect each other based on Christ's example, even when the other doesn't reciprocate. Jesus was tortured and died a criminal's death for me, so how could I (or my wife) be justified in a lack of love "because he/she doesn't deserve it." The whole point of the Gospel is that we don't deserve it. Ps I'm not talking about abuse or other extreme situations like that. That's a terrible thing I wouldn't wish on anyone

@@milankurienov6768 Did you read my comment? I said that a wife mut listen to her Husband if He is listening to Christ. And Her job is to make sure He is in fact following Christ. We have a relationship with God, not a slave contract. We are only Human if we are connected in Holy Matrimony. But if the Man is not listeing to God he has no right is requireing obidience from His Wife
@milankurienov67688 ай бұрын
@MilesDei95 that's why man never requires obedience from his wife, God requires that. Not blind obedience, of course, but obedience nevertheless. She isn't going to help him commit a murder but she can't refuse to follow his lead in a financial decision for example. And this isn't because of how good the man is, but because of how good the wife is. God calls wives to submit, not to evaluate their husbands' success in their role and basing your submission off of that. The same applies for men. I am to love her no matter how much my wife refuses to submit to me or even doesn't love me in return. Both of us do it out of obedience to God, not to each other. Even if one fails, the other doesn't falter.

These are your words and not those that are taught to us in the Bible. In Malachi 2:14, marriage is described as is a holy covenant before God. In the Jewish custom, God's people signed a written agreement at the time of the marriage to seal the covenant. The marriage ceremony, therefore, is meant to be a public demonstration of a couple's commitment to a covenant relationship. It's not the "ceremony" that's important; it's the couple's covenant commitment before God and men. It's interesting to carefully consider the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony and the "Ketubah" or marriage contract, which is read in the original Aramaic language. The husband accepts certain marital responsibilities, such as the provision of food, shelter, and clothing for his wife, and promises to care for her emotional needs as well. This contract is so important that the marriage ceremony is not complete until the groom signs it and presents it to the bride. This demonstrates that both husband and wife see marriage as more than just a physical and emotional union, but also as a moral and legal commitment. The Ketubah is also signed by two witnesses and considered a legally binding agreement. It is forbidden for Jewish couples to live together without this document. For Jews, the marriage covenant symbolically represents the covenant between God and his people, Israel. For Christians, marriage goes beyond the earthly covenant also, as a divine picture of the relationship between Christ and his Bride, the Church. It is a spiritual representation of our relationship with God. The Bible does not give specific directions about a marriage ceremony, but it does mention weddings in several places. Jesus attended a wedding in John 2. Wedding ceremonies were a well-established tradition in Jewish history and in Bible times. Scripture is clear about marriage being a holy and divinely established covenant. It is equally clear about our obligation to honor and obey the laws of our earthly governments, which are also divinely established authorities. To in any way suggest that marriage is not a contract is not only disingenuous, it is misguided and misinformation. There is a clear indication in the Bible that not only the laws of the Bible must be followed but that thee laws must apply in tandem with local laws and customs. Your dialogue is misleading and not a true reflection of the teachings in the Bible. Incidentally, a marriage may be a covenant but it is not legally binding until the marriage is recognized by the state. Therefore it is an agreement and a contractual agreement.
@MassiveGarbage2 ай бұрын
Customs are not binding.
@momobaro55393 ай бұрын
“You can’t break a covenant without sin.” That is nonsense. If this were true the concept of divorce would not be written in the Bible, either from a Jewish or Christian perspective. Divorce is quite clearly stated in the Bible as being a legal exit from a destructive and or abusive marriage. The concept of a woman being in any way subservient, or unequal to her husband is also counter to the Bible. It is quite clear in both the old testament (the Torah ) and the Christian Bible that a woman is equal in all ways to her husband and men in general. Your view is counterintuitive to the writings in the Bible and is misinformed and dangerous advice.
