Rusty do you think LeBron usually has a system around him that usually allows him to get more assists also know as the LeBron system where he usually needs more players who can catch and shoot to more effectively win games and if he doesn’t his teams usually suffer for it or is this also a false claim idk I’ve heard of it but never seen anybody go in depth about it

How? The world praises lebron like he is this perfect basketball player the world ever seen. We point out all of these flaws to point out he not better than Michael Jordan, Kareem, chamberlain, Larry bird, magic, Tim Duncan.kobe, shaq, bill russel and the dream if he truly that damn good we wouldn’t be able to find flaws. Do you want to know what disrespect is? Disrespect is when Kareem only gets 4% the votes being the goat only 4% now that is disrespect. We turn on sports talk shows to learn bout basketball and on these shows it 70% the show is praising how great lebron is but we ignore what curry did we ignore what kd did cus they to busy kissing lebron ass that is disrespectful to curry and kd we bash kd for joining the warriors well lebron joined prime d wade prime Chris bosh and ray Allen the world says nothing d wade is a better player than curry is. That is disrespectful to kd we call out kawhi for load managing disrespect the man as a person saying he faken a injury when honestly lebron missed the same number of games Kobe missed up to this point lebron only got injured once what was lebron doing? But we disrespect kawhi for load managing. The media praises lebron longevity when Kobe had the same amount of longevity but we disrespect Kobe and say lebron the only player played all stars level basketball in his 17th season but we ignore Kobe cus he played all stars level basketball. Maybe if the media didn’t disrespect curry,kd,Michael Jordan, Kobe,kawhi on a regular basis maybe we wouldn’t be looking at his flaws. Maybe if lebron didn’t turn Chris bosh and Kevin love into spot up shooters and toss them under the bus once he loses in the finals and bash them maybe we won’t look at his flaws. I have never seen a player who is praised this much has this many flaws cus Larry bird Kareem chamberlain magic and Michael Jordan didn’t have these flaws. Btw lebron has no longevity if u look up John Stockton and Karl Malone career.

Ray Allen and Kyrie Irving "saved" LeBron's career. How? In 2013, LeBron WILLED his team back into the game, but people think Ray Allen saved him because they saw him miss a shot and Ray Allen hit one. That was also only a game tying shot. Bron showed up in overtime, getting his team the dub, but the same people don't talk about that. In 2016, LeBron had a block that maybe saved the Cavs title hopes, and just because Kyrie had the ball in his hands and hit a shot doesn't mean LeBron couldn't hit a clutch shot. LeBron can get by others easily, and if that doesn't work, he can dish out to Kyrie or one of his shooters. People are expecting LeBron to win 1 vs 5 against the stacked warriors team. You need teammates to win duh.
@kushberry6679
@kushberry6679 4 жыл бұрын
Exactly my man. Also people forget that Lebron can go to a team and from rebuilding he can make them contending. His impact is a lot more than hitting a shot, and if je wasn't there in those teams, Ray Allen and Kyrie would never had the chance to take and make that shot in the first place. No disrespect to Jesus Suttlesworth or Uncle Drew because I'm a huge fan of both, but people forget how much of an impact he has on and off the floor

@kushberry6679
@kushberry6679 3 жыл бұрын
@@davidjackson9680 I agree. You can't win alone in this league, especially in this era. Heck, even a great bench is a requirement to far into the playoffs, let alone having 2-3 superstars. When Lebron went to Miami Wade was at an MVP level but after 2011 he started declining, but remained a great 2nd option and a star on both ends. Bosh was getting more and more comfortable over the years because he was developing a jumper, and after all those years that he was the lone star at Toronto, he became a 3rd option overnight. Also, it's important to say that Bosh signed for the heat after Lebron went there. That means Lebron just joined his buddy, not a superteam. Anyways, I'm not a dickrider but the amount of hate and criticism he receives from casual haters and nostalgic NBA fans is unreal

@Donald Hariot that wasn't really a tough shot, at least not for Kyrie. He makes that in his sleep and has been before and since then. No one on planet earth though could make the play that LeBron made. Remember, he started running when he was 15 feet behind Steph and Andre was at least 20 feet ahead of curry. By just comparing those plays side by side, all Kyrie had to do was a make a shot he's hit 1000 times before, while LeBron had to make a damn near impossible play. Remember, no one scored a basket between 4:43 left in the fourth until about 2 minutes left when Klay hit that layup which tied the game. Between that layup and Kyrie hitting that 3 that gave the Cavs the lead again, no one scored a basket. When LeBron made that block, he quite literally saved their season. When Kyrie hits that 3 they were up, but LeBron closed it out with a clutch free throw, and K.Love closing it out with great defense on an admittedly hobbled Steph curry. So with all of those things in mind, LeBron clearly had more to do with the Cavs winning that game than Kyrie did. And that same thing applies to the 2013 finals.

The only problem I have with 2011 is that people continue to hold that over him like it completely invalidates his career. There seems to be this deity-like mysticism about Jordan like he never had a bad playoff game or made mistakes or whatever. Imagine if Jordan did what LeBron did in 2016. We would never hear the end of it for the rest of history. LeBron is probably the only player ever who could have a championship as insane as that legitimately overshadowed in some people's eyes by a bad performance in 2011. 2011 was critical to his development. Prior to that he was the best player in the game but still frustrating as he hadn't fully committed to diversifying his offensive game, hadn't fully committed to playing hard on defense. He could always credibly claim he wasn't going to win a championship with substandard teammates so he had reasons in his mind to not change. 2011 blew that all up and forced him to realize he needed to change and the very next year you saw it. His shooting form was more consistent, he started playing in the post more, he was more committed to defense. If they win that series we may not get the LeBron we eventually saw.

Why do ppl discount Lebron’s finals record so much? 8 finals is an unheard of accomplishment in any team sport in the modern FA era. Lebron has more finals appearances than 17 teams, more than half of the league.
@jankjaws9815
@jankjaws9815 4 жыл бұрын
You do know Magic went to 9 right? Kobe has seven. And more than I can count have six. I think it’s become an argument is that clearly he is great. However, the question is how good is he. Many great players have been to the finals several times. Some even multiple times in a row. So I believe that a great player should make the finals and do so at least a few times. Then comes how many rings came from those runs and subsequent stats to go with it.

Leque Promotions again I’m not saying he isn’t great clearly he is. I just think that people don’t care much for the finals runs. They only care for the amount rings that came from them. LeBron has cemented his legacy that’s no doubt. Like I said before what comes next is his legacy compared to other greats.

The point about Jordan fans believing the only "clutch" play in the entire NBA player's arsenal is a fade-away jumper for 2 is soooooo true. Kareem's skyhook? Not clutch. Steph's long 3? Not clutch. Hakeem's shake? Not clutch. Lebron driving and taking perfect angles? Not clutch. Just ridiculous. Totally absurd. Great point dude. Great point.

I swear if Lebron was 3-0 in the finals and usually failed in the ECF instead of 3-6 in the finals he wouldn't be hated as much Same for MJ if he lost in the 1990 and 95 finals (overachieving compared to what he actually did) he'd be more hated

George Harry In 2012,13,14 ,15 Bron had great competition on his road to finals. They lost Bosh to injury in the pacers series, And went down 3-2 to celtics and Bron went off. And the thunder series was closer than everyone thinks, 2013 they had a 7 game series vs pacers, 2014 competitive series vs Nets and Pacers again,2015 they almost lost to the Bulls, 2016 and 17 they jus blew thru the ecf.

In the clutch (5 seconds to go in the game or OT, shot to win or tie game) according to Stathead, since the 2003-04 NBA season, James has attempted 107 field goals during the last five seconds of a regular season game and has made just 19 shots. Yes, that translates to James having just a 17.8% FG and 12.5% from the 3-point line during his clutch time.

He could do an entire series about Barkely. Barkley wasn't underrated until memories of him faded, fans got younger, and all anyone hears is Shaq talking about how he doesn't have any rings. Chuck was a bad, bad man in his day. It's a shame his legacy as a player is obscured by years away and Jordan's dominance during that era.

Sadly many people think clutchness is about hitting game winning shots. I know game winning shots are awesome, they are great for the viewers etc. but I give more emphasis to dominance or putting a significant lead in winning. The clutchness that some people prefer just means it could have gone either way and makes room for debate that winning in such a way means your team isn't necessarily better than the other team on that game.
