The story of Luna walking through the curtain and everyone’s clapping but they’re really clapping for sable makes me sick. It’s Another reason that I am very proud to have given up on WWE 15 years ago. And what’s even more messed up is you have people like Bruce Prichard who actually know the wrestling business and know that Luna should get that spot over sable was probably sitting there clapping like a trained seal. Vince McMahon, Bruce Prichard, and Kevin Dunn have to be the three worst human beings alive still in the wrestling business.

Yeah, I have no longer watched WWE because people like Vince running and ruining it.
@bdr1130803 жыл бұрын
@@trivo1216 When WCW went away I was watching both but I was always a bigger fan of WCW but then when all the WCW stars and ECW stars came to WWE I thought it should’ve been the best wrestling promotion of all time. It should have been. I never would’ve imagined that Vince would be so petty that he would just use this as an opportunity to act like the worlds biggest Mark and just have his wrestlers just beat every WCW and ECW star repeatedly and pretty much ruin these guys careers. On top of that the overall Quality of the shows and matches and PPV‘s kept getting worse and worse and worse. I actually was sitting in third row at the WWE ECW December to Dismember ppv And that pretty much sealed it for me and I haven’t been a WWE fan ever since. I didn’t want to be one of these wrestling fans that keeps complaining about how bad the product is but at the same time still supporting them week in and week out. I understand why Solomonster still watches because it’s his job to. I still watch pro wrestling but it’s always older stuff from the 80s and 90s and very early 2000’s. Watching today’s fans fight and argue over WWE & AEW is like watching two homeless people fighting over which is the better meal, diarrhea or vomit.

Did Luna deserve "that" spot over Sable, I would say no. They propped up Sable to be a money maker and she did that. Nobody was asking Luna for a Playboy centerfold. At least at that time. And again Solomonster touched on maybe why Luna couldn't be trusted with the belt. But if you're going to trust her to make Sable look credible. You should acknowledge that when she does the damn job. That in itself is as disrespectful as you can get. No wrestler can have a great a performance by their self. Whether they have the abilities of Sable or Kurt Angle.

@@TRivera13 All very good points and I guess I should’ve clarified. When I meant spot I meant as in the match they were having and that she should’ve gotten more recognition than Sable did. If Luna wanted to she could’ve made sable look like shit and I just feel the company should have Appreciated Luna for making sable look that good because it’s not like sable was really a wrestler who had a clue of what she was doing out there. I don’t really have an issue with them being proud of stable but to just ignore the person that did all the work is really messed up but it is kind of WWE Standard to just to use people and give people credit that they didn’t deserve.

What gets me angry was how they treated her when she was working with Sable. The story was that before there Women’s championship match, I believe it was at Wrestlemania, Gerald Briscoe said to her if Sable gets hurt in anyway, she was fired on the spot. After the match and people were applauding Sable after her win, Luna was to the side crying and the only one who came to console her was the one and only Owen Hart. Go figure the two guys who were kind to her when everybody was focused on Sable were Mick Foley and Owen Hart. Truly amazing that not only do you never hear a bad thing said about either of those guys but consistently always hear good things about them in a business where people bad mouth people all the time over even small slights. It seems like every time a wrestler falls on hard times in the modern days Mick is out there doing something to raise money to help them out and often donates sizeable amounts to the fundraising himself. I read something that he even paid to build some schools in Kenya with a $50,000 donation. Mick has to be the highest quality guy in wrestling

While she didn't see herself as pretty, she had a very underrated look. Something I found interesting was gangrel saying how she had multiple personalities. It wasn't listed as one of her mental disorders but I think she may have had dissociative identity disorder. They kept calling her bipolar instead but Angel being childlike innocent, luna being the fighter, along with angele of like the one she usually was and trudy that they didn't go into detail much but it really seems like she was plural. Many who have the disorder has gone through a lot of trauma and with her dad comitting suicide when she was 4, along with all the stories of her being abused throughout the episode I wouldn't be surprised if she had the disorder. Angel being her childlike innocence that was taken away and had to become luna to protect herself so the other people in her head didn't have to deal with it. Maybe luna was the fighter and that's why she'd be attacking gangrel while he was driving and screaming why doesn't he love her because that's how Luna dealt with things. It also can explain why she'd tell gangrel that her aunt abused her and she'd still praise her so much. Maybe some of the other people in her head didn't know of the abuse because they were shielded away. Maybe that protector that had to go through it all was luna or trudy. I am talking about this so much because I have many friends who are plural and dark side of the ring is often pretty good at covering mental disorders while for luna it seemed to just write it off as bipolar. I think there's more to it and with how plurality is used in wrestling (not the best showcase of it with it often just having one feral/monster and then the "normal" one)and there's wrestlers currently openly have it. Maria Manic is one I know that openly said she has it and I think they could have done more

For me Luna was a psycho, a warped figure always jealous of the better looking women in WWF. That's how good of a performer she was. To think in some ways she felt like that for real in a roundabout way (not pretty enough) is so sad to say the least. Then never getting the credit she deserved. It's one of those things where she did her job so well she was taken advantage of.
@thecharmcityplayerbrandona88273 жыл бұрын
I truly did feel sorry for what Luna had to go through especially during her time in WWF because she wants to prove herself to be more than just a valet but she never got the chance and it doesn't make things better when during the attitude era they were pretty much pushing towards women that mostly had smoking hot bodies and barely any wrestling experience. But if she was alive today to see how women's wrestling has come far she would be crying with tears of joy.
