Killing a King Salmonid depends on what kind it is and what weapon you're using, but to defeat one you generally have to use your egg cannon to rapidly defeat Boss Salmonids so that many eggs appear at once. After that I usually try my best to lure the King close to them. If your team is good enough, they'll hopefully capitalize. As for Triumvirate, it's next to impossible in Freelance unless your EVP number is very high and you somehow get a cracked team.

Great vid so far! (I haven't finished this yet, but I wanna say this since I just finished the part on maps about the respawn/lack of entry point stuff): The Respawn Drones have so much potential to make more dynamic spawns that could make it so you could realistically make safe zones while allowing the enemy to enter your spawn without risking complete spawn-camping. There's some stages that do make use of them, like Museum, Inkblot, Eeltail, and Hammerhead (This is the only time I'll praise anything about the latter two), but they are extremely simplistic additions, or are just ways to get to certain areas faster. The spawns of the maps feel like they are built around the old respawn machines and not the Drones. Oh also I do agree with Flounder's design being terrible in this game (even if I personally kinda like it) The devs shortened the map and make the spawn more compact to make it so you could reach mid more quickly, yet remove the right spawn flank, a route that was a fast way to get to mid, retroactively making the issue worse in the process. I like to call the Splat1 Reworks "Mushroom-Cupifications", named after how they mascaraed GBA Sky Garden (and a few other tracks in the BCP) by making it play like a Mushroom Cup course. They oversimplified the maps to make them more beginner friendly, in turn making them more boring to play with less interesting design, disappointing both returning players and pushing away new players. Edit: Minor thing, the only purchasable SR gear that is over 400 bronze and 5 gold that is JUSTIFIABLE is the Cap of Legends, since it was originally the "You maxed out your level!" reward in S1. Do I wish it was available some other way aside from losing around 2 weeks of my life grinding for gold scales? Fuck yeah I do, but it does feel good to achieve it ^-^', I do think that the cost should be capped for the gear at 5 gold at most considering you have to sell your second kidney to even get a chance of getting a single gold scale.

“Mushroom cupifications” 😂. Yeah I also think the respawn drones weren’t used properly. They inadvertently help defense but as you said, it’s obvious that they kept the S1 and S2 ground respawn in mind for the design.
