As someone who just rewatched it, no. It's the second worse above Xros. The characters are cardboard cutouts, the plot is a whole other level of tropey, and god, the themes. They tried really hard to have like four major themes running through the series, but they never actually like *said* anything about any of them, so a lot of moments in the show just feel like "what is this even for?" All that without even talking about the misogyny of how Zoe was treated, I mean, Jesus Christ.

How did you write so much and nothing at all. Also the misogyny at the end says it all. Every digimon series is tropey besides the 3rd season. What themes were they trying to push? Most of it was friendship and growing up which is a theme for most of the digimon series as these anime are geared towards children.

@@Badboy25251 it really wasn't. I mean, sure, there's obviously the standard elements of childhood and friendship, but they tried really hard to say something about destiny and determinism, and also the Zoroastrian dichotomy, but like. Didn't.
