i have some thoughts about this movie but the most prominent one is: where is peter pettigrew? he's a rat ass that betrayed his friends, but at this point he was a marauder. you cannot make a marauders era movie and not have peter, because despite what happened after hogwarts, peter joined in trying to become an animagus. peter helped james with remus and snape. peter would be around. peter was their friend. one cannot exclude a character so interesting and full of potential just because he turned out to be a disdainful character.

I love this. Finally a fan made that ends up showing James Potter in a good light when he saved Snape’s life and apologized to him. Though I personally think they should of added a moment at the end when lily finds out the real reason why James was there and they have moment when they connect for first time in the hospital wing.

See, the issue I have with this, is James wasn't sorry. He saved Snape BEFORE snapes worst memory. In the books. JKR had it where Sirius almost killed Snape BEFORE Lily and him stopped talking. Which means these goofy brats didn't grow up until two years later. I always thought it was after, like in their 6 year, and that kind of woke James up, like "this isn't funny anymore." But no. They continued to torment him, kick him down, harass him because he existed. And that where some rich kids pick on a poor one just aggravates me a little bit. If James as indeed sorry, and not just trying to protect his own friends like Snape thought, he would've stopped tormenting the kid, and only defended himself when snape hexed him. But that's not the case. So James was a snot, yes. He grows up and does start to date Lily. But it is not in school where he grows up. As even Lupin and Sirius say that Snape was always a special case when it came to James's Bullying.

I have seen fan films with the Marauders and Snape that are extremely biased towards Snape. And I've seen ones that are extremely biased towards the Marauders. I'm on Team Marauders myself, but I love you've managed to do make all the characters sympathetic. Also, great acting and awesome special effects.

@@RaidoDemonSimp I agree that they should have not bullied Snape, but Snape wasn't completely innocent either. He was a racist. He constantly called Muggle-borns, mudbloods. He hung out with people who bullied and used dark magic against Muggle-borns. Then when he was an adult, he said that horrible thing about Hermione's teeth. He bullied Harry (and no, James's treatment of Snape is no excuse. The sins of the father are not the sins of the son. Harry was innocent.) He terrorized Neville so badly that be became his worst fear. A teacher abusing their authority to bully students is just as bad or worse than a student bullying another student.

In my opinion both Sirius and Severus should got some counselling for home situation. And neither what Marauders or Mulciber etc were doing should be ever allowed. My opinion

@@scarlet_oleczka Snape was silenced after the attempt on his life, not to protect Sirius, but to protect Remus, was completely innocent in that situation. (So were James and Peter) Yes, what both the Marauders and Mulciber were doing should have not been allowed, but at at least James and Sirius became better people and joined the Order. Mulciber became a Death Eater and unlike Snape, he remained loyal to Voldemort. There is both good and bad in Snape, James and Sirius. But Mulciber is just straight up evil. Sadly, I do not think the Wizarding World has counseling. They don't seem to care at all about anyone's mental health. It's very unfortunate.

By the way something to everybody should about James a bully, he never went after first years, or kids that weaker then himself or Sirius, otherwise they would not of been friends with Peter Petigrew, they would of bullied him too. And the book says that he only started hexing students in corridors in his fifth year, the same year he realized he had feelings for Lily. He was trying to get her attention, but when he realized that it wrong he stopped and matured and, well...you all know no the rest.

Oh this came out pretty recently! The transitions, sound effects, music and camerawork in this is probably the best I've seen in any hp fan film to be honest. Not to mention the amazing acting! Well done! 👏👏👏

Dafür, dass das hinter der Kamera alles eine ein Mann Produktion war ist das über trieben heftig!!!!. 1. Musik wirklich richtig geil. Hat immer gut gepasst und auch gegerell zu dem HP Franchise... 2. Alleine diese kleine Fightsequenz zwischen James und Schniefelus xD, hat mit Sicherheit schon ne halbe ewigkeit gedauert. Und das alleine, einfach nur krass. Auch diese kamerafahren durch CG Hogwarts waren echt gelungen, vor allem der Wechsel bei Nacht hat mir echt gut gefallen. Auch die Arbeit mit den 3D-Modellen ohne MoCap Suit war für deine Möglichkeiten hammer. Aber auch diese ganzen HP Hints, wie die Bilder oder einzelne Settings waren echt mega cool. 3. Die Story war wirklich gut gelungen und hat auch chronologisch zu HP gepasst, btw props an Amelia Schrader für Schauspielleistung gerade zum Ende hin. Und auch der Ton war nice, besonders diese Sequenz an der Weide... Wäre echt nice, wenn du noch ne 5.1 Version machen würdest, ka ob du da Lust drauf hast. Die einzige Sache die ich anders gemacht hätte wäre dieser Nebel der Duellszene, der wirkt echt künstlich, hätte den vllt on Set gemacht, aber ich kann da eh nicht rummeckern, weil das noch absolut nicht mein Niveau ist xD. However einfach nur Strong!!!

This was so good! It's actually mindblowing that there's such high quality content coming out of the hp fandom this far after its conclusion! Kudos to all of y'all, this was honestly stunning. Not to be rude, but I personally feel like you're better off speaking in German and just adding English subtitles so it'll feel and sound more natural. No offence but the delivery was kinda dry which is a crying shame since you can all clearly beautifully emote through voice pitch, facial expression and body movements (dope wandtwirl btw)

Sehr guter Schnitt in Kombination mit der Musik! Tolle Kamerafahrten, sowie passendes Lichtsetting und eine hervorragende Verarbeitung und Einsatz der Effekte! Die Geschichte um den jungen Snape wird sehr gut dargestellt, Spannung wird aufgebaut und gut durch die Schauspieler und die Musik getragen. Ein wirklich gut gemachter Fanfilm! Was mich am meisten beeindruckt hat, war tatsächlich die Musik; die ist total schön. Aber die Schauspieler und Bilder gefallen mir auch sehr :) Was ich ein wenig zu bemängeln hätte, ist, dass man schon sehr stark merkt, dass Englisch nicht eure Muttersprache ist. Es hätte dem Film vielleicht gut getan, wenn ihr ihn auf Deutsch und mit englischen Untertiteln gemacht hättet. Aber das ist nur meine persönliche Meinung und es ist dennoch ein toller Film geworden. Da bekommt man gleich Lust selbst einen Harry Potter Fanfilm zu drehen :D

"ANYTHING". 1 falsely convicted... that Severus had absolutely nothing to do with?! He didn't know Sirius was innocent until the summer between PoA and GoF, and even then it was Crouch Sr who decided to throw Siri in prison without so much as a trial 1 sacked. Yeah. And rightfully so. Severus didn't out Remus when they were ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF A WAR. Severus spent the whole damn year tracking the moon cycle and brewing Wolfsbane and double-checking he'd taken it -that's literally how he knew Remus and Sirius were in the Shack, because he realized Remus hadn't taken his dose and went to deliver it personally. Btw, Remus resigned, because he himself admitted what he had done. I love Remus but if you can't be arsed to remember to take the one thing standing between you and yoi becoming a mindless, murderous, bloodthirsty monster, you aren't exactly a prime candidate to be locked 9 months a year in a castle full of kids. Any sane adult would have done what he did. And again, he ONLY outed him after he definitively proved himself to be a danger, he didn't stand up the 1st September "Hey the new teacher is a werewolf" 1 enslaved. Oh my G-d. Severus undoubtedly played his part in the Potters's murders, but he literally had no clue who the prophecy meant. The minute he realized who he was going after he turned himself in to Dumbledore. Peter, on the other hand, had been James's friend since age 11. He knew full well what he was doing. He was responsible for Lily's and James's deaths, and for Sirius's imprisonment. And he did it ON PURPOSE. Then, he went and helped Voldemort come back. If anyone out of the five is 100% despicable it's him. He wasn't enslaved by Severus either, he was by Voldemort. If you think making him fetch his stuff and bossing him around AFTER KNOWING HE WAS DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OUTCOME HE'D TRIED EVERYTHING TO PREVENT is like, cruel and unusual punishment or whatever, idk what to tell you. Peter is responsible for "one killed, one falsely convicted, one enslaved". He did all those things himself. The only thing he didn't do was out Remus. You don't have to like Snape but stop loading him with sins that aren't his, ffs

The best thing about the movie is the graphics. Right from the beginning, the grapgics caught my attention. The duel was fabulous! And the actors were excellent. Especially Severys and Lily. The mistake is that Siruius runs to the Potters’ only when he is 16. But the main scene shown was when they were 15. Other than that it was very well done!!

I'm going to be honest. I dont want to discourage you in any way, but the actors look way younger than they're meant to be. Sirius ran away to James's when he was 16. He looks like he's no older than 14. Also, the actors. They have "acting voices" doesn't sound natural at all. And it sounds like the accents are all fake. However. For a low budget film, the effects were FANTASTIC! And the story was told very well. Keep making short films! You're definitely going places! 4/10

Elsa Gillsten it's was fifth year that he called her a mudblood because they'd just finished their owls which only happen during 5th year, newts are the tests in 6th and 7th year

I believe both events happened in fifth year. The Whomping Willow incident could not have happened during third year. Because in Prisoner of Azkaban, Snape tells Dumbledore that Sirius was sixteen when it happened. The direct quote is "Sirius Black showed he was capable or murder at the age of sixteen. You haven't forgotten that Headmaster? You haven't forgotten that once tried to kill me?" Sirius turns 16 in November of fifth year. If we assume that that Harry is watching Snape's memories in the correct order in 'The Prince's Tale' than the Whomping incident happened before the events in Snape's worst memories. As Zoey A pointed out the events "Snape's worst Memory" is in fifth year when they are taking their OWLS. So the Whomping incident would have to take place in fifth year sometime after Sirius's birthday (November 3) but before their OWLs exams at the end of that year.
