Over 600 views... and no one has a word to say, about the fact that this kid kicks major ass ? Wow ! What does it take, for someone with that much grit and soul, diversity in style, and some mad ass guitar skills, to get a little appreciation ?

I have been around awhile and I have been blessed to have seen some of the major musicians of the last forty or fifty years or so Hendrix The Beatles Janis Joplin led Zeppelin deep purple bad company etc. etc. but I have never been more impressed and completely blown away with an incredible human talent and gift like Marcus King. He is so incredibly talented it's actually difficult to comprehend. His voice is beyond belief and his guitar playing skills are right there with it. He has the range and tone of Janis Joplin with the monster riffing capabilities of Paul Rodgers + . He is just an incredibly stunning monster musician with a fantastic gift and is a blessing to the world of music and sound.

Very underrated comment..sounds like you are some sort of a legend yourself..how come you had the pleasure to meet all of those musicians ?
@thabilsterone3 жыл бұрын
@@simonegger5699 hi Simon I didn't meet all these folks but I did have the pleasure of watching them perform live, Hendrix and Joplin at Monterey Pop festival, Beatles in San Diego, Zepplin at Berkley community, Stones at their first concert in the US San Bernardino Swing auditorium, etc Music has been a big part of my life for a while. Marcus is killer.

"Confessions" Lay awake every morning Sun rises 'cross my bed Find myself missing you All them things we used to do And the words I never said All seems so familiar to me Could it be I was just alone when I had you Didn't treat you right I stayed out all night And left you home worrying all alone But jealousy runs through me Seemed okay for me to stray away from you Forgive me for I have sinned Forgive me for how long it's been I sing these words to you, over and over again But this will be my last confession This will be my last confession Left you lonely so many times 'Cause in my mind I was only saving you from me Now I wake up on a cold sweat, and my mind won't let Me forget the way things used to be Now my whiskey's dry The pain that I put you through is killing me inside Thought if I could make you leave Then you would see I ain't worth a damn anyway Forgive me for I have sinned Forgive me for how long it's been I sing these words to you, over and over again But this will be my last confession This will be my last confession Forgive me for I have sinned Forgive me for how long it's been I sing these words to you, over and over again But this will be my last Forgive me for I have sinned Forgive me for how long it's been I sing these words to you, over and over again But this will be my last confession This will be my last confession

Agreed... if Janis could play guitar. Maybe the product of Janis and Duane. I had the opportunity to meet him a few times, and he really is a nice guy - down to earth and appreciative of his fans. The whole band is really a great group of people. I'll buy every album they put out, see them every time they come near me.
