It's a shame that they aren't a household name, but at the same time I kinda like it that way, though. I enjoy the reactions my friends give when I throw MKB on out of nowhere. The reactions are usually always "who the hell is this, and is all of his music this good?!" I get a kick out of it and they get introduced to new incredible music.

@Otie Jason Much of the tone is in the fingers of the player. Marcus's actual guitar tone of a Tube Screamer through a cranked Super Reverb (which was his rig around this time period) + the tone straight from his fingers = his guitar tone. I don't know too many other younger guys in this generation doing it as well as he does and sounding as good as he does these days.

Saw these guys last weekend in Memphis TN had the VIP package with sound check and meet and greet!! All of them seem to be very humble and interacted with us during sound check!! Seemed very genuine during meet and greet didn’t have the “lets just get this over with” vibe took time for conversation!! And the show was utterly amazing!! Played for 2 1/2 hours left their all on the stage!!
