Honestly, this feels exactly like what Super Retro Squad / Super Action Squad (a cancelled sequel to Super Mario Bros. Crossover) could have been like had it been finished. Great video!

Mushroom Kingdom Fusion predates Crossover by 3 years. MKF's original GameMaker release came out in 2007, SMC came out in 2010. In fact, we are still developing using that original 2007 version.

I want to see the hours put into 100% this game. It looks creative and overall like it actually has a lot of thought put into a game. Though I think this more then anything shows the idea of "more is less" like yes there is a lot of stuff, a lot of it probably just meshes together into similar ideas, or you might not even get to see half of it because there is so much. Also I still think the idea of Mario and just Metal gear in general is funny as sh*t.

fusion games is such a brilliant idea we need more of, for more oldschool platforming fun try the fan game shantae and asha dream fantasia, very fun with lots of unlockable characters to play as, just one warning though for me at least saving and loading was a bit hard to learn how to do with how the menues set up, theres a number of options that reset or exit the game without keeping progress.
