They probably are just “spiritual” but without dedication to practice it’s challenging to tell whether or not someone is experiencing the benefits of spiritual awareness. It’s just something I’m personally learning from studying ancient mysticism.

Watch it 3 hours ago but only now having breakfast so taking time to commend....or comment. First out the block is a huge thank you to Rochielin and Mr Curry for another great lesson. Next is a suggestion that I'm not aware if it exist already but post Covid(forever), I would recommend building Cabanas and setting up a Tourism schedule with members of the Maroon community combined to guide the visitors etc for a package fee. If the wild pigs he mentioned in your previous video can be reared in an enclosure for commercial purposes that can be a boost from an export EC/US revenue earning possibility. Thank you, the camera person and of course Mr Richard Curry, Maroon Chief.

@gasixteenb11

@@ingridb1618 a lot is left unknown and that's been said in all Rochielin's Maroon journeys. Chief Curry said that during the celebration on 6th January only Maroon people are part of the final procession while the visitors are left at the Kindah tree until they return. No Maroon will ever share certain rituals or other information that can compromise their identity. Please also please do not assume the Maroons don't know what they are doing. I'll share this... the system of leadership not governance is what was bought from homeland and proven to work for the interest of a community. There are no budget being provided to Chief Curry or his Colonels for management of the State of Cockpit Country and for a very long time progress has been dependant on contributions from each member along with those from persons visiting or simply giving donations through Maroon official fund programs. It's not possible for anybody to just enter the State without knowledge of the Maroons and go roaming or destroying the environment. The Maroons do have a tested security system so be assured harm will only come to a violator and that was proven. Just ask about the man who went to dig for riches. Lolll.

The only people who are indigenous to Jamaica are the Arawaks and Caribs. But they're no more. The Maroons have the same genetic profile as the other JA residents. There's is only one sovereignty; and that is the government of JA, whose laws reign supreme. Considering the foregoing, the Maroons can be considered a subculture with alternate norms & more's.
@CS-dn8rd

Well actually there is one Sovereignty and that is the Creator of this world…this universe. The government is a temporary place holder chosen to rule for now and they are doing a horrible job. So maybe it is best these people try to manage themselves the best way they can because the government isn’t doing anything much for the rest of the Jamaican population🤷🏽‍♀️.

The Maroons are not an independent people Within Jamaica; that is a fallacy that they and those who don't know better says, they had a treaty with the British, which was revoked when Jamaica became an Independent Nation, they are subject to the Laws of Jamaica As Any other Citizen, they have to use a Jamaican passport like the rest of us, they have the right to Vote in elections, Send their Children to Schools Funded by the Government, there is no independent people apart from the Jamaican people.

We have to be careful of the information we put out there. The maroons in Jamaica initially had a great and powerful history of fighting the British and getting a treaty. However in subsequent wars the British thoroughly defeated the maroons and deported many of them and forced them to install a British soldier as the head of their forces. The maroons had to get the approval of the British to appoint a captain and were little more than an unpaid militia of the British who were compelled to come and fight alongside the British were Jamaica to be invaded. They were also little more than slave capturers, who were paid very little for the return of runaway slaves. What in that makes them sovereign. At most the maroon lands are a municipality of Jamaica and we are contributing to the endangerment of Jamaica and a division of its people if we continued to push a false narrative that two sovereign people share the island, utter nonsense. Jamaica is politically on country with a varied history of great people. The early maroons were the heroes. The later maroons devolved in nothing more than slave patrols and un unpaid militia. Rochielin, I love your channel and all of your contents except this. This narrative is very dangerous to the country I think.
