If monica is the only one that made it to the fox universe then i just might pirate Deadpool 3. But then they had to go and tokenize binary which the fact that shes even there AS BINARY definitely tells me they know SOMETHING about the source material and are just finding ways to purposefully shit on it. For those who dont know, Binary was Carols identity that she got in the X-Men brood saga arc in the 80s. And now they have a tokenized version of binary in the fox universe. Carol was Ms. Marvel for almost a decade which is just tokenized Captain Marvel but she was tolerable then. A decent character. Of course this was back in the 70s when this stuff was actually worth half a shit. In the 80s and 90s she became more of an original character first as Binary then Warbird then for some reason they decided to make her Ms. Marvel again but she was still decent. Until Disney wanted to fuck us so they tokenized literally the entire universe and wrote like shit. Literal shit. Thats how the bitch became Captain Marvel

Binary is not "newer" stuff - that was Carol Danvers' name/costume/powers in the early 1980s. 40 years ago. Her identity for almost 20 full years of Marvel history between the time she stopped being Ms. Marvel after Rogue stole her powers and when she took on the name Warbird in the late '90s. Why they're giving it to Monica here, I don't know, but none of this is "newer" stuff.

What's even cooler about Monica's mom being Binary is that in the comics, Carol gets the Binary powers while her and the X-Men were kidnapped by the Brood! The Brood did experiments on all of them to make them hosts for Brood eggs, but Carol was mutated to the point where she gets her Binary powers. I've always hated that MCU Carol got her Binary powers without the X-Men around, because I love that arc. Storm goes through a crisis of her morals/beliefs, and it leads her to her punk rock era. Anyway, hopefully this Binary and XMen leak is true!
