Questions I have before watching this video. 1) What does masculinity mean exactly? 2) If there is a masculinity crisis, doesn't that imply there is a femininity crisis as well? 3) Why do we actually need masculinity? 4) How did the masculinity crisis happen?

Do you still have these questions after seeing the video?

I can answer these. 1. Masculinity doesn't have a definition anymore. We should look at as a complementary aspect to femininity...sort of yin-yang...existing in both men and women. But now Masculinity is watered down to mean "strong" and "forcefull". In the case of the Church, it means "father and husband." 2. Yes, there is a crisis of femininity. And it IS THE CAUSE for the crisis in Masculinity. 3. We need Masculinity to build, create, fight, explore, discipline, and balance femininity. 4. The crisis began in 1960 with the invention of The Pill. It accelerated with the s3xual revolution. It became an agenda when Patriarchy theory was created at Harvard in 1972. The culture demonized men. It made us a joke. It created systemic female contempt for men. Human Resources shamed men. Wives emasculated their husbands. Mothers dislike their sons. Boys and men live in a world that consistently tells them they are unlovable, stupid, evil, and unnecessary...and men disengage.

I love how you said that men like systematic approach. That is why the TLM is packed with men.

Please clear up my confusion. Is the devotional Mr. Chris tiff has written available for purchase somewhere or is it still being written. It sounds like a great idea!

But it seems to me if I am all in focused in determination i “feel” evil prideful so it hinders me to commit. Also Realizing my parents aren’t quite who I want follow but I think that we are basically who our parents are and that’s what destroys me.

I experience what you do for the first sentence you said. I think the cure is appreciating every good action is a gift of God already, every action is a response to God who wills your good. “Work out your salvation in fear and trembling FOR it is God who works in you both to will and work for His good pleasure” one of Paul’s letters, emphasis added. So the key is any good thing is a gift from God to be thanked for. As long as you don’t take credit for the determination you have, then hopefully that can help

I appreciate your worry. And it is true, that with original sin and habits we have, we might regress to our bad habits. But ultimately let us not be concerned with that. But rather be concerned with God’s grace so that we may become participants of the divine nature (see the letter of St Peter). As Christian’s we are adopted as sons of God the Father, and the Virgin Mary as our mother. If our Spiritual Father, is God the Father, then we can be comforted that by grace we can overcome the fitful ties and bad habits we have. Remember that the Virgin Mary is immaculate and sinless. She is perfected in love in the beatitude of heaven. So she loves us, as her own children, such as Jesus on the cross, giving the Beloved disciple to Mary saying “Behold your son” as a representative of the church. I hope my words may serve as encouragement.

Nice talks and important nowadays to ponder on. I would like to say something about that once we are in heaven we don't not become God but we see God through Beatific vision. Thank you that's the only thing I am little bit concerned of.
