It’s going to be increasingly difficult as you get this expansion of the schedule. Friday games, Thursday games, Saturday games, etc. it’s hundreds of games to keep track of. No matter how many rules you put into the algorithm, you’re going to get stuff like this or other stuff.

i hate double monday night games, not because there are 2 games, but why cant they be at seperate tims like before in wk1!?!?!? have one at 7 & then the other at 10. that was i can watch both & not have to swap between games which i hate doing

This is why the Ravens-Chiefs game should have been in the second half of the season so that people won't have to care about some of this potential bad games, they did this last year and I liked it. the NFL should have used to model from last year so that the best games, potential playoff spot games are at the end or near the end. the NFL messed this up.

I like symmetry. weeks 1-3 divisional. Weeks 4 to 8/9/10 afc vs nfc. 8/9/10 to 13 conference. 14-15 placement weeks. 16 to 18 divisional weeks. All rotated. Something like that.

ESPN can also not take the good game that FOX has at 1:00 because they can just protect that Jets Jags game because the 4:25 game they have involves the Steelers who also play on Christmas so they have no reason to protect Steelers Eagles. ESPN is really stuck with what they have.

Can one of the FOX games get flexed? Or do they have the same issue? To be fair the only game I can think that would look better from the FOX games would be Steelers/Eagles. Interstate/interconference battle, Russell Wilson vs Jalen Hurts? I'd say that's a good one.
