Many thanks! Both Confucius and Mark Twain said “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I love every part of growing bamboo and making flutes.

How does a rock guitarist run into this and want one of each? Incredible Sir.

A recorder is fully chromatic. With one you can play everything he played on every flute with just one instrument.

When someone suggests I see a counselor, I say, "why yes, I DO have a Counselor" 😆 I have several of Erik's flutes, but there's still more I want to get. Even though I have small hands, I won't give up on my large Arabian flute...I just play slower so I can stretch my hands. I hope Erik stays in good health and high spirits. God bless him and his family ABUNDANTLY!

I was searching Egyptians kawala and finded you Erik. Your flutes sounds all so beautiful. What you can recommend for short lady fingers who love Arabic music? I would love to learn songs from Fairuz and Abdel Halim. They are lot of half tones to play. I try to play Egyptian nay but it's so difficult to produce any sound. I would love to have flute in G . I use to play as child on recorder. I still can remember all notes and songs. It's been more than 36 years I didn't play on it.

Awesome how you can just play all those flutes (scales/notes) on just one chromatic flute like a recorder for example. If you learn all 12 chromatic notes you can play any scale. One flute for every scale in every key my goodness that's takes up so much space when one instrument can do it all. But making them is pretty cool too. Good job bro.

This is wonderful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge on all of these flutes. I'm still learning how to bend the half notes on the Penny Whistle you made me. By the way, do you have a link to or any spare little gold screws? My whistle box is missing one.
@ErikTheFlutemakerCom5 жыл бұрын
Wow, we stopped providing that box in 2013. I feel I have lost a few screws too! Perhaps, Home Depot? Thanks for the kind words, Erik
