Very well presented. The Hassan are still very much active and better trained to this day. They are hired by many but separate from all. Much like the Ninja. Never underestimate or overestimate your enemy, they will put anyone against a government, group, even one person. With cunning and grace, they slaughter. Once it was with honour, now, sadly, it is for gain.

and also he didn't use hashish on anybody, it's unfortunate that so many people believe it. the reason for this misunderstanding is their name, Hashash. hashash means someone that creates medicines from herbs or something like that and there is a drug named hashish which you can use for medicines (for pain killers for example) but using it raw would cause hallucination.

For those seeking a comprehensive and captivating account of historical events, I highly recommend the 30-episode series titled "The Assassins." This series offers an engaging and entertaining narrative, comparable to the popular "Game of Thrones" series. By delving into the history of the Assassins and the rise of Hassan al-Sabah as a prominent figure during that era, this series provides valuable insights and historical context. It is a cinematic series from the brightest stars of Egyptian cinema. I swear you will enjoy this historical series very much

There are a lot of important details you’re missing. I’d love to help write scripts if possible, so I won’t elaborate much. But here are some interesting facts not discussed. They were a specific sect of ismailis called Nizari Ismailis, whose beliefs are important for understanding them and their assassins. They were largely a Persian rebellion against the Seljuk-Turks, who were probably the most oppressive dynasty of the day. Their ancient libraries and alchemy laboratories were renowned in the Islamic world, and many scholars from other sects studied and debated more controversial ideas there, ideas which must have been dangerously compelling. Your portrayal of the Fidai is sensationalized, and it’s entertaining and valuable to relay it, but their story and that word’s (hashashin) history is very important and more complicated than this account from Marco Polo. “Hashashin” was only ever used in a derogatory way, and I’d love to discuss it more, but I said I’d be brief. We could crank out videos lmk

yes you are very much right. the stories and especially the accusations including thkse of drugs are written by the enemies of nizari ismailies. Point to ponder is how a person who is high on drug can carry out such high profile target killing ,you definitely need to be in your senses completely to carry out such act. So yes these are mere accusations coming from their opponents just to bring them down and to malign their image. it was infact a strategy adopted by the assasins and fidains of that time under the brilliant leadership of hasan saba of iran and rashid ud din sinan of syria.Being a nizari ismaili and their follower i’m extremely grateful to them it is because of them that we still exist.😊

This name is on my naming list as well The reason why I'm in love with it is because of Hassan ibn Ali, the son of the fourth caliph of the Rashidun Caliphate. Hassan was the fifth caliph actually, although his reign was short ( 6 or 7 months) but was full of events especially that he inherited regional conflict from his father who was assassinated. He did great stuff in preserving muslims lives and crashing the Byzantine ambitions on restoring Bilad Al-Sham to the Ghassanids ( an Arab Province affiliated to the Byzantine empire). I wish that I could specify more, be careful with the wrong statements associated with his name because he faced a huge media war that aimed to ruin his image.
