Very far. The inbreds running it these day are full on destroying western civilization. They even erased LIV guys from history of tournaments already. They are erasing all western history as policy...unless you bow down and anoint them king, sex change your kids, george floyd is a hero, sex change yourself, dont be heterosexual with a loving family, spread HIV, do drugs, gamble and be stupid, etc.

U have already seen how far they r willing to go. The liv golfers will dominate the leaderboard. There r more masters championships on liv perhaps than the pga tour. The question is whether they will shadow ban liv players from the coverage.
@robertbrown7470 Жыл бұрын
@@chevy4x466 I wouldn't think they would but I would not put it past them . I think there are too many popular players from LIV to do something that insane. Of course they did shadow ban Patrick Reed in the tournament against Rory McIlroy recently. You barely saw any coverage of him, but later they added a 30 to 40 minute highlight video showing Reed and McIlRoy. Reed only finished second by one stroke. I bet they got a TON of complaints about the lack of coverage and that's why they added that video after the fact. Made PGA look very bad.

Golf Clubs - they are billions of very good used clubs out there. There's a KZbin channel that has dealt specifically with just used clubs called "Stacked."
@Matt-cr4vv Жыл бұрын
The online resources and ways to get good clubs for reasonable prices are simple for established golfers and fans but it isn’t for people who are fresh and considering picking up the game. There’s also the aspect of perception to where someone doesn’t even look into things and just assumes it’s too expensive. But even then a knowledgeable player may find used clubs and knowing the pricing market see things as a good deal in context while a casual player may see that same pricing as too expensive as they don’t have that context in mind. Same deal applies for green fees and such. An informed player knows there are muni courses and the like where you can play inexpensivly by comparison to many courses that are expensive for casual players to get into the game. For example, I live near a muni where if I walked 9 holes on a Saturday it costs $18, $30 with a cart, or $39 with a cart for the most expensive time. Or there’s another close by course where walking the 9 is $25, 9 w/ cart is $39, or 18 is $50. For a casual the pricing could matter especially if you add in the extra stuff you buy like drinks or food etc and one round can get pricey if you don’t know where to play for cheap. And that adds up if you play more than a few times a year and if you want to play a lot buying a season pass and the like gets very steep. For instance if I wanted a season pass that includes a cart at the local muni it’s around $2,300 for the season which is a nice chunk. And that cost keeps me from playing more than occasionally because i just don’t want to spend that much. Courses do well with kids as most junior golf passes are a few hundred bucks or so which makes it affordable to introduce people to the game but the gigantic jump ends up taking people who played a ton and turns them into occasional players more often than not. In high school I played 4+ rounds a week now I play maybe 4 a year.
@Matt-cr4vv Жыл бұрын
But to the masses who won’t read that long ass diatribe if the game truly wanted to grow by any sizeable margin making it affordable for people would be a huge step. If you don’t know how to find the cost savings to get into the game there’s a high barrier of entry to attract big fans of the game who are the people who will actually follow the professional game. Making the game more accessible is how you truly expand your audience.

I think u completely overestimate the powers of Augusta. The USGA and thr R&A are the keepers of the rules. I think Augusta had to beg them to roll the golf ball back. The Open, US Open and PGA all have multiple courses they could go to to remain relevant with the golf ball now. Augusta is the most vulnerable to the point where they threatened to have their own ball. Augusta was accommodated. But at what price? I think the price was LIV inclusion. If you go back to last year, the R&A was the first one to say we aren't changing our rules in defiance of the PGA. Think about it. And the DP World Tour is essentially the R&As tour. Even if LIV events got points the overall structure of LIV would hinder the impact. People seem to ignore that 20+ tours get points but the only one that really matters is the PGA because of the fields. LIVs fields have a select amount of top level guys and a ton of unknowns and would never stack in the same level field wise. So how do you measure that when the events are so different? How do you measure how somebody ranks playing weaker fields and less holes to people who play more competiton with more holes? You can’t truly measure apples to apples when the events have such drastic differences in what they are.

@billmoyer3254 this is why the game doesn’t grow. To the casual person who is curious to pick up the game they don’t know the ways to get decent stuff for reasonable costs. Methods like “buy reconditioned balls, go to a yard sale for clubs” isn’t things that a casual potential player is thinking of when considering the game. Somebody who isn’t really informed of all those things is more likely go to a traditional store to look at stuff and may be scared off seeing those prices not realizing how they can find a much more affordable way to go. If you want the game to actually grow which requires new people to pick up the game, fall in love with it, and begin to consume the game consistently by playing more etc etc you lower the friction to begin the game and make it easier to pick up. Taking an attitude that people can just figure it out and afford it if they really want to and can take outside paths to afford the game stymies its growth. If you want to grow your game you make it easier to adopt not tell people they need to figure it out. Golf’s natural barrier in what it could possibly grow to will always be the cost of entry and how prohibitive that is for so many people who may have picked up the game otherwise. Soccer is the worlds most popular sport because the barrier to adopt the game is next to nothing - all you need to have is a ball and kids can adopt the game.

Over time things will continue to change. But golf at the highest level is clearly on the rise. Nfl Football has issues but it’s not going anywhere anytime soon. 18 LIv players are qualified. Now everyone knows this. As I mentioned elsewhere Faldo has used his cbs platform and others since to be very against LIv. It’s really that simple. The Ryder cup will be fine as well. Although close observers will know it’s not all the best together…until hopefully they do come together again some day. Probably sooner than later once the owgr includes the Liv accomplishments. I don’t believe these meetings you go on and on and on about will do as much as nature taking it’s course. Business. Over time LIv guys will be on the pga tours elevated events and more of the top guys on Tour will play LIv. The euro tour like most other tours will be what it is, a regional tour of sorts for up and coming players, some stars that decide to stick around despite less money (as happens in Korea with women), and maybe some veterans returning home in their 40s. The tomorrow sports obsession is ridiculous. I’m wondering if that will even last very long. Tomorrow sports is not taking over the pga tour. That is just nonsense thinking. I had to watch this on 4 quarters it was so indigestible compared to past shows. I would not go over 45 min. 30 would be ideal so you guys are more concise-I know we are watching u tube but you should respect viewers time more than this slow vaguely organized ramble. Some people may be impressed but i had to watch a few basic facts being guessed about while breaking down for an hour what could have taken 5 minutes. And then the mower. It’s happened past shows. You can edit further so we don’t even have to hear the mower coming. But really gonna have to time it better. Cause it also distracts the flow of your conversation which makes it less digestible for the audience.

What about 'pronouns'!!!!!! Good analysis guys. (other than the key omission of pronouns) :)
