Say what you will about Reloaded, but this was by far the scariest and darkest and most underrated scene in the movie. It revealed so much about just how in control the machines were in the whole predicament of things, not just the Matrix alone. It revealed how doomed humans are in doing anything at all to stop any of it. Especially towards the end of the video, it was pretty frightening when the continued cycle plan with Zion was revealed by the Architect. Zion, literally the only hope humans have of establishment and rebellion, is also a part of the damn plan and that was just terrifying and dark. What made things more unsettling was the way music was used in this scene. The silence in music throughout the whole scene giving room for explanation and then the sudden eerie music when the real frightening truth was exposed about Zion was masterfully done. It showcased how even the viewers have no idea how far the machines have things figured out.
@antsletjuka63042 жыл бұрын
Indeed. Reminds me of Oracle speaking about programs. Machines only keep Zion alive until they find the anomaly, feed him same manipulation they were fed generations ago and with the help of Oracle, guide him/her to the Source. And as soon as their purpose is fulfilled, they are terminated until they become threat to the Machinecity. Thus freeing space for new settlers, and beginning the cycle anew. Like a huge ant-farm.

@@jamyskis It wasn't just the journalists, it was the audience as well. The core problem is choice and the many factors it can lead wether good or bad hence why the previous matrix's before neo failed miserably is because the paradise was forced upon us humans without the choice of how we perceive our own "paradise" that the machines created with the matrix. Upon the oracle who helped people make their own damn choices is how the matrix became more accepted by the masses. Choice is very unpredictable in all its aspects Hopefully this helped explain at least what hes talking about

0:37 He looks up to God when he says, “A Mind less bound by the parameters of perfection.” He represents Lucifer in that he believes his vision for creation is greater than the original Creator. However, both a machine and Lucifer both suffer from the same fallacy of logic. In essence, the sum of an equation in chaos theory or governing dynamics is most effected be the initial conditions. Since a Machine and Lucifer will always be a second order consequence of the Creator, they can never come to the same logical or Mathematical conclusion as to what “Perfection” actually is. A simple way to think about it is this. 30 people are in a room. They all take the same test. 1 is the Teacher. 1 is a TA. 28 are students. The rules are this! Each entity/person can only understand I.e. compare themselves to someone of equal or lesser “Experience”. Therefore their will be 3 different Average test scores, for the Class. One has 30 samples. One has 29 samples. One has 28 samples. Therefore, the optimal solution to improve test scores or what should be tested will always be different depending on one’s perspective or position. No one fully understands you but you. That also means that no one full understands God but God. For us to assume the system is flawed, and that we know what perfection is better than God, is inherently irrational and hubris. This is why Satan got his ass kicked by Jesus. The Son understands the Father more than anyone, and is therefore above the rules of the game. Neo is the symbolic representation of Christ in the movie.

Id love to ask so many questions now, that im seing this scene again after seing the movie 10 years ago as a kid. Main one would probably be, what was Neo hoping to achieve. All machines wanted was to destroy Zion and fix the matrix so humans wouldnt rebel against it. The only issue was Smith took control over it. Overall humans seem hopeless for finding any kind of peace. I guess if machines didnt find Zion on time, they would die off because they wouldnt be able to feed with matrix taken down. But... Not before killing all Zion surviviors, leading to both machines and humans extinction. So... Was neo just offering to save machines so only this one time machines wouldnt destroy Zion... and then what?
@likenot30732 жыл бұрын
okay part 2 i guess... So my take would be, machines cannot be killed stopped, matrix cannot not excist. Both machines and humans do what they need to survive. But eventually matrix will be perfected and no one will awake ever again. Machines get perfect matrix where theres no anomalies and people live and die not knowing their lifes are fake, at the same time part of humanity gets to live in a free world of Zion. Well looking at it like that, matrix 4 is basically, Neo sacrificed his life for peace between machines and humans, but now he will throw it all away because he wants his life back. But hey as much as it undoes his actions it is realistic in how humans would act. Anyway i was just really happy to see Zion and matrix after actions of matrix 3 because that was kind of an unknown. It was great to see that Zion was advanding technologically and some of machines were willing to work alongside humans.

Thinking about this today it doesn´t really make sense. There is the hive mind who apparently is the head of the machines and I conclude to that since neo speaks to it referring to mr smith as "one of your programs" but that thing is extremely hostile and has none of the character aspects that the architect has. From that we can conclude that the hivemind isnt the architect but the architect is a creation of the hive mind. Now it would make sense to create programs who resemble parts of humanity to create the matrix if you have already failed to but it seems like the hivemind never tried, it doesnt make sense to have a godlike superior AI unable to create a matrix and therefore creating another lesser AI to do it for it even tho the primary AI is far more advanced? The architect says he invented the first matrix but it wasnt compatible with humanity. That points out that the hive mind never created a matrix itself...why? For us that thought only makes sense because any AI in what it does is way superior then us so an AI might be better at creating something (see code languague) with higher efficiency. However the hive mind is already a collective massive AI including all the machines out there and all the combined artificial intelect so this just doesnt make sense it is as if we were to create an AI that has less intellect than we do so the possible outcome can only be worse then our own research. Now the oracle is a different thing since she resembles what eh AI lacks, humanity. There just is no point for the hive mind to give a thing of such importance out of its own control to the architect to begin with. Think of it that way, if you wanned to create an AI or program, with a certain function you create an AI or program for that function, why would you create an AI or program that then creates another AI or program for that function within itself for you. It is way more complicated, uncontrollable and unpredictable therefore just raises the chances of missing the functionality you intended it to have. For example we cannot understand the brain, so it makes sense to create an AI that has the function to analyse and understand our brain for us. It just doesnt make sense to try to create an AI with the instruction to create another AI with this function, because now not only do we have to know the parameters of an AI to instruct it to look for the right things but we ALSO have to know the parameters to instruct an AI to INSTRUCT another AI to do it. We can however start with an AI that is capable of understanding its own tasks and changing its own parameters according to improving its efficiency since we might not now the general conditions optimal for the task to begin with. However thats not what the architect resembles, the architect is unable to change itself and he also isn´t the matrix itself, that is why he had to create the oracle in order to change the matrix. So a god AI creating and AI that creates another AI...which makes no sense since it can only scale downwards since every one of these AIs has less ability in potential then its corresponding superior one. The only way this would have made sense is the exact other way around. So the first AI redefines the creation conditions of another AI and it ends up being superior and it leads all the way up to the hive mind who then ends up having all the control.

A video between. The first video. A life like. Is it duration-less ? Does it summon participants & all that's left is war ? Thinking aloud. Could we track it ? Nooooooo What happens post ? Is a war. That's clear. Because you've spoiled it😮 (I could be vwrong)

So in fact the architect is a psychopath stalker? I don't think Neo is gay, but who knows...😲🤔

This was the part when I almost got up and left the cinema room. When this scene started, I was all "wtf that guy from KFC is doing and talking?"

Architect: This will be the sixth time we have destroyed Zion... Six: Not bad. I have already doomed the Pale City six times...

So why the architect made The Oracle to start with?
@johncookie44152 жыл бұрын
Waaaaiiit. The Architect says that there have been 6 Neos/Ones. Yet the screens show way more than 6 reactions. So Neo visited the architect way more than 6 times.
@TheOiseau2 жыл бұрын
I think the screens show all possible Neo reactions to the Architect's words, as calculated at that moment by the program. The Architect is trying to show Neo how predictable he really is.
@Shakes-Off-Fear2 жыл бұрын
@@TheOiseau Exactly. It comes back to choice. The monitors represent all the possible options of reactions that Neo could have. It’s when he’s looking around at them that ‘the problem is choice’ dawns on him. Although this being said, I love the fact that his reaction to being Zion is about to be destroyed is “Bullshit” and ALL of the other Neos say Bullshit as well, just with varying degrees of aggressiveness.

More than 6 Neo reactions, not more than 6 of Neo himself

There have been 5 prior individuals equivalent to “the one”.

@@Shakes-Off-Fear And architect replies to multiple bullshits - "denial is most predictable of all human responses" - so its definete confirmation, that those are not 'previous Neo'es'. Its calculation of architect, as he for once guesses the predictable outcome of Neo's response correctly. Also - he mentions, that the One is also a program, meant to reset over and over again after Zions fall. Neo is just the first one to chose differently than previous 'Ones' and in the end that leads to saving Zion for once and making peace with the machines? Im interested to see the outcome in fourth matrix. Trinity and Neo were seemingly dead, Trinity for sure, so are they both made as programms to exist within the matrix? Who the hell knows whats going on in 4th part :P

Without Jesus and holiness no man will see God. No Muslim is holy No Buddhist is holy No religion leads to true holiness. It is only found in a relationship with Jesus Christ! You don’t have religion with your parents do you? Neither do I with my God. He’s real and wants to know you! He will send you to hell if you continue to be a child of the devil. How do you know you are a child of Satan? You commit sin! The bible says he who sins is of the devil! 1 John 3:8-9 KJV [8] He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. [9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Cry out to God in humility and watch him change your life. Start to obey Jesus and follow him!!!
