As a heavier runner this is the best shoe ever for me. Comfy, soft and fun. The rocker shape is very good. The More v4 and the two first versions of the Nike Invincible are my previous max cushion favorites.

Last year I developed such bad mid foot arthritis while on a long walking holiday that I thought I had a stress fracture. Had to wear a walking cast the rest of the trip. The doctor who diagnosed my arthritis said to get a good show. Hokkas did not work for me. I ended up with a wide, half size bigger than usual pair of these more 5 shoes. Omg. Fantastic. I’m in my 3rd week of another walking holiday and I have ZERO pain. These need more appreciation. I also have a pair of NB 990s that are not bad, but the comfort of the More 5 cannot be beat for my foot issues. I do think getting the right fit is critical though and I had good help at Fleet

The fresh foam x is a God Send. Soooo grateful I found and own them. 880s….1080….more foam. Love love love them. Walking on these is like…inner bliss and no one even knows. ❤

They are a soft ride. They are enormous. Size not so noticeable in the black over grey. Not unstable for me. They are breathable. Not for serious running. The best foam I ever had that made me feel like running along with walking was NB SC Trainer v1. I tried both on at the same time and the ride felt very very similar but the SC Trainer v1 looks normal size compared to the More v5. I always get a half size up and wide in NB. Glad I did. Still a little bit restrictive in the toe box as many NB shoes are for me no matter what size they are but they are a keeper.

I love these shoes and use them every day. I also put A LOT of miles on the Fresh Foam X Trail More v3. Super good for walking the pup out and about on uneven and hilly surfaces. You just have to watch the terrain, the bottoms are EASILY punctured, so long thorns etc. that are on the ground will find their way into your feet, IF they can make it past the thickness of the foam.

I have wide and flat feet. I got these, the balos, and the 1080s. The biggest drawback of these are the toe box. My pinky toe gets squished, and i bought the wide. I love the 1080s, but the balos really did blow me away. Love its colorway too.

What's the NB More V5 like compared to Hoka Clifton 9 and Bondi 8? I have the More V5's and I like it, but I've been wondering if the Clifton 9 or Bondi 8's are softer or firmer compared to the More V5. I'm new to running shoes but I recently purchased some just for walking 7-14 miles daily after messing up my feet with improper shoes. I now have the Asics Gel Kayano 31 and the NB 1080v13; I love both those shoes because the 1080v13 is super soft but a bit unstable and the uppers are cushiony and gets warm. I really like the Gel Kayano 31 because the upper is really soft and breathable despite the foam being firmer than the 1080v13; it keeps my feet cool and stable. I preferred the Gel Kayano 31 over the Gel Nimbus 26; the Nimbus felt firmer but the uppers were not as comfortable out the box or breathable. I have the More V5's too but after taking some online quizzes about where I get foot and back pain I was recommended the Clifton 9 and Bondi 8's, however I wonder if they're really all that different from the More V5's?

I stand 8-10 hours for work everyday. My feet have felt the best on days when I wear these shoes compared to my other max cushioned shoes. I have wide feet and the wides are perfect on my feet.

I found that asics nimbus, NB More, Hoka Bondis are actually detrimental at least for myself. These runners sink in causing misalignment and imbalance in the foot. I have more aches with these than the lesser stack ones. The compromise for me was the Brooks Hyperion Max 2. That is max cushion but plated, so while it is very comfy, it is stable. Im excited for the Balos since they did something with the fresh foam making it more stable but still plush

How does the volume in the toes compare to the 1080 v13? I tired a pair of the 1080 v13's in wide and I had to take out the insoles for there to be enough height. Otherwise my circulation was getting cut off in the top of my toes.

@heskicks I wear the ASICS gel nimbus 25 everyday and love the feel of them. I’ve worn them almost everyday since they came out. How do these feel in comparison? I really like the forefoot squish I get from the gel 25s

I got the 25's and the more v5 and the v5 are definitely more squishy than the 25's. That said I prefer the 25's more, I'm fat so I squish the hell out of the v5s and they ate not as stable because of it. Don't get me wrong I love my v5 but I prefer the 25's if I'm going to be on my feet all day. Also the rubber under seems to be better on the 25's than the v5. My v5 are already showing signs of wear where my 25's are still looking fresh and I got those last year

Having tried a few pairs due to this channel I think I'm gonna stick to the Kayano or Nimbus range from now on. The V4 were good but I found the raised rubber in the inner part of the shoe restricted my foot and I can't wear them any more. Also found that the 1080s were slightly unstable due to squishiness. I think ASICS really gets the balance between cushion and stability right, even if its shoes might not always be the most attractive or innovative.

I bought the size 12.5 Wide version in white and returned them the same day they arrived. They were very comfortable and I was fine with the fit, but the shoes were massive, like i had a full size kleenex box on each foot. I think that the pretty much all white color didn't help, but i think even if i grabbed the black ones, i would have felt they were still massive. I feel like i would probably feel the same about the sizing had i not gotten the wide version. If i was getting these for jogging, i would have kept them, but i wanted to wear them to work and for casual use. I thought they were just too big for those situations for me. For reference, i have a pair a size 12.5 Supercomp Trainers V2 and Crocs Echo Storms and don't f find those too big.

Ive got the V4s and they were okay, then i got the 1080 V13s and they were 1000% softer/squishy/better. No way these can be better than the v13s...nothing is lol. Ill have to give these a go and see for myself

Yeah bro, i have the more v5 and my dad the 1080v13 and i say to you, more is better, but i use for go out, for work, not for running. For running I think there is no such thing as the best, it's going to test each person…

But they do hwve more rebound and tend to push you forward as you walk, i find if i do 20k steps in the v13s i tend to get tired because of how much your feet sink in the foam. The V5s are a perfect blend of plush and push..im ordering a pair, definitely need the wide version though the regular were crushing my toes

I have both. Definitely the More v5s no question. Rebels are lighter and more breathable, but they don't hold a candle on pure comfort and squishiness.

Regular toe box on these is already pretty wide, I thought I’d have to order wide too but I tried on the regular D width and they were perfect for me. Def plenty of room. Insanely comfortable 🔥🔥

He already reviewed them! I ordered the 860v14 and I like them. I usually wear neutral shoes, but these have mild stability that you don't feel. They're not super soft though (I like this about them). I returned 1080v13 because of the fit, also ordered the Balos yesterday can't wait to try those out

I'm just looking for a well cushioned shoe with serious foot support for everyday wear that are still comfortable... I've also heard good things about the New Balance Vongo, so I'll need to try them on in-store before making a decision.

my issue with the fresh foam more v4 was that the bottom of back angles out and scraped on stairs when i go down. it can get pretty jarring when its raining and im going down some small steps and suddenly my shoe scrapes the steps. only pair of shoes i ever had that problem. it did really helped me with my plantar fasciitis though so I might pick up v5s in a few months after my v4s are worn down.

that’s exactly what i bought them for , and for me ( wide foot gang ) and even with the wide …..the toe box was too shallow and my foot felt cramped . I much prefer the fuel cell rebel, fuel cell super comp trainer or elite , and after them the 1080v13. Hes is right it’s the most squishy out there but the actual fit isn’t comfortable for me. maybe if you have a thinner foot they’ll be ok, but i found the toe box to be tight

Tried the wide version and I liked it and bought the More v5 at US$115. However for me, softest is Balos then 1080v13, rebelv4. I think more v5 is 4th softest or maybe it still needs some break in. The longer I use it, that's when I can feel the "More" of it. More v5 ankle support/heel counter is solid and superb traction on rain. If balos is 10/10 softness, V13 and rebelv4, is 8-9/10 softness, More v5 is around 6-7/10. Balos is just too soft that some say too soft might be tiring on feet for long time of wearing it.

The Asics gel Nimbus is the most cushioned shoe I have ever had. I’ve also had the Hoka Bondi model. And the Saucony Endorphin shift. And the Brooks Gylcerin. Saying that the nimbus is child’s play compared to the NB fresh foam is quite the claim. Ill have to find out if you’re full of crap

Will you change to Balos or 1080v13? I chose More V5 because I think too soft like balos and 1080v13 will make my calves or feet more tired. At least on my More V5 I dont feel any foot, heel, ankle pain compared to my Ultraboost 20(which I feel those pains after 1hr of standing) but I still feel my feet are tired after a long day on more v5, which I think it's normal to get tired.

It may not be for everybody, but it's definitely for me. I have over 60 pairs of running shoes, and these shoes are, by far, the most comfortable shoes that I have ever put on my feet.

I tested over 20 TOP running shoes, including Invincible 3, Rebel V4, Fresh More v4 and V5, Balos, Nimbus, Cloudsurfer and more literally everything. The Rebel V4 is 100% the softest shoe at the moment, there is nothing as soft as the Rebel V4. So if someone is interested in a plushy and bouncy feeling like extreme softness its the Rebel V4 1000%! There is nothing out there that comes even close. Also on runrepeat its listed as the softest midsole from all tested shoes 😀

@jakutz I don't have the New Balance Rebel V4, but I have the New Balance SC Elite V4, which has the same exact foam as the Rebel V4, but only more of it. I could honestly say that the SC Elite V4, which is New Balance top of the line shoe, is no way near as comfortable as the More V5. Also, I have seen some reviews giving the Rebel V4 a "meh" rating. Not saying that what you think is wrong though. You are definitely entitled to your opinion.

If you remember the old Bondi 3, these are better. Hoka have just gotten harder and harder over the years. These are really comfy and to me are a lot more stable. I used to roll my ankles all the time in the Bondi's

I'm disappointed with More v5 compared to the v4. 1)It's definitely narrower, v5 wide is the same width as the v4 normal. 2)The outsole is way less durable, been walking in them and occasional run or 2 for past 2 weeks and there are obvious wear and thinning at the front of the outsole. 3)They did nothing to improve the ventilation of the shoe, remains as warm to wear as the v4, gets really hot when running Only pro is the extra stack of fresh foam x does make it more comfy to wear, but I am worried if it'll even last the 6 months of regular use.

@@heskicks yeh. Sending mine back today. I’m a heavy set guy, wasn’t what I expected. Invincible run are my go to. Since I discovered your channel and max cushion, I’ve had little to no knee pain! I also returned rebel v4’s last month. I genuinely believe max cushion does have a sold benefit for people with joint pain.

I have the ghost 16. I love using them at the gym when I want to be more nimble.very soft but versatile. I didn't like any colorway of the ghost 16, but the gray ones, so I got those. But with every other situation, I'll take those off and put on the more v5. When I wake up, I think my feet crave the mores. Sad huh... I do not have the 1080s...but when the 16s wear out, they will probably be my next all around shoe.

Could always try Nike MetCon or Pegasus. I have personally lifted and ran in the Asics Novablast 3 or 4, brooks ghost ,glycerin and Altra Torin …I end of using Altra more but they are 0drop but wide toe box and stable for both

Pegasus 41s and Ultraboost Lights (and even the new Ultraboost 5 or 5Xs) are my go to's whenever I want an all around shoe. Those are what I take to the office when I want to workout in (weight lifting or cardio) and still wear them casually in the office. No more changing shoes.

I love max cushion sneakers but this is yet another ugly sneaker from NB. They need to chill with the huge N branding. I’ll never get them because of that and them just being ugly. People rag on the Nike Invincible Run’s looks but they look 100x better than all these NB’s
