@@thijsvisser4868 Basically by using link summons, you can chain them from one extra monster zone to the other extra monster zone through the main monster zones, thereby blocking your opponent from link summoning. It only works best against other link summoning based decks or decks that use a link monster to chain into other special summons like fusion, synchro, xyz, etc.

This is why you always play a droll so you can droll yourself. Once they’ve made it clear they intend to deck you and you’ve gathered everything you need, fire the droll. In this case it would go after the Mothman effect.

⁠ 3 of the decks that can deck out maxx c have counterplay to exodia, bone tower mayakashi mills so if they mill even just 1 of exodia limb, u lost, dark worldz play card destruction and they draw their entire deck on turn 1 via gates of dark world/dark world dealings/dangers/etc so it’s guaranteed they will see card destruction. Six samurai play isolde, and the best isolde engine is neo space connector into neo spaceion aqua dolphin. Aqua dolphin can look at the opponents hand and destroy a monster. Even if they dont open neo space connector they can draw their entire deck on turn 1 by looping 3 copies of saryuja infinitely with daigusto emerald(plus their entire deck draws, six samurai united/golden bamboo sword/upstart/into the void/etc)

Remember, if your opponent take your Maxx C challenge, and he summoned Apollo USA, make sure you prepare 2 Hand Traps before use. For example, activate Veiler or Ash then Nibiru. Apollo is once per chain. However, if they have Called by, well RIP. Maybe try run Imperm as well.

This isn't really modern ygo tbh. Zombie decks always worked with mills into banish for Special Summon. He just slapped a few extra cards in there like fairy tail snow who greatly benefits from milling and obviously the grass looks greener which is the only reason this deck is even viable. There really is no combo. You just start with something like solitare or uni zombie and then go for grass. After that it's just YEP buttons in your Graveyard.
